Mugilu is a very calm homestay in Sakleshpur, surrounded by greenery on all sides. It is slightly off the road and that makes it a very quiet place to stay. The hosts were pretty friendly, the staff pretty helpful. The dogs in the property are way too comforting even for those who are afraid of dogs.

A trip to Mugilu is all that u need to connect to ur soul...and connect we did for 2 whole days. The place is tucked away under the arms of mother nature. The property is run by Mr Chandan Gurukar and Mrs Sapna Gurukar. The process of booking and checkin into the homestay is totally systematic and hasslefree. The homestay offers...

4 cottages nestled in their estate and such a calm pleasant atmosphere. We visited in the first week of April and in fact stayed only 1 night as a pit stop on the way through. We could have easily stayed longer. The cottages are very neat and clean and the bathrooms were too which is often a deciding factor for...

Mugilu located near Sakleshpur in Hassan Dt. has been in my "radar" for quite some time. I happened to first see their web site nearly three years back. Even then what caught my attention was the clear cut messaging on what could be expected at Mugilu and what should NOT be expected. It was the "take it or leave it"...

Visited Mugilu on a New Year's weekend. You can reach this place easily. Last stretch of 1.5/2 kms is a issue but its still fine. Now about the Homestay: Chandan and Sapna are wonderful hosts. This homestay is away from city and is exactly what you need to relax. Cottages are lovely with basic facilities. The staff is cooperative. Food...

Mugilu is a beautiful plantation home stay well designed. It is built without harming the nature around. They have four cottages which are spaced well, not close to each other, providing the privacy. The best part of the cottage is the balcony, which opens to the lush green plantation, big trees and singing birds. The rooms are maintained well and...

Its a little gem tucked away in the western ghats! Has everything that you look for in a homestay - away from the city, surrounded by greenery, cottages with great views, amazing food, fresh coffee (which btw is not charged) and wonderful hosts. What makes it better, are the pet dogs which roam around freely and love to be petted....

This is heaven for pets. This year 2016 November was so dry, so no place to roam around. We stayed for a day and relaxed. Rooms are clean and good and the couples are great hosts. The big valley and creek near the home is heaven for pets. My GSD puppy enjoyed well.
