We are a three-generation family of 8, meeting after almost 5 years and wanted a less crowded, relaxed and enjoyable stay, and that is just what we got from Cardamom Grove Homestay. We had all of the homestay to ourselves, lots of space, a very warm and helpful host and lots and lots of fun. The rooms were perfect and each could accommodate a small family of 3 or 4, with two beds and an attached bathroom and verandah, set around a big and tastefully decorated garden filled with colourful flowers. There was a lot of space to walk around, play, sit and chat or simply enjoy nature. The food deserves special mention. We are non vegetarians with a big appetite and we were delighted with the taste and variety of food that was provided. The camp-fire was a great place to chill out, cool even in May, and the snacks were yummy. The host provided great suggestions about sight-seeing options, arranged vehicles for tours and made sure that we are happy and content. It was exactly what we wished for- a perfect little holiday.…

This was my third visit to Sakleshpur and it had to be Cardamom Grove Homestay. What drives my family and me to this place is the quaint, clean and hospitable place that it is. Darshan and his family, like always, took care to make our trip a special one. The clean rooms, fresh homely food, bon fire and locals treks made our trip one that we will all cherish. I'll highly recommend Cardamom Grove Homestay.

We recently stayed in Cardamom Grove for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The property is located in a scenic location with views of the mountains to the east. The house is fairly modern with nice landscaping and the rooms are spacious and very nicely and cleanly maintained. Our room had a king bed plus a twin bed and a huge bathroom....we were 3 adults and 1 child and could stay comfortably. All the greenery and trees around also meant that we could hear and see lots of different types of birds. We saw hornbills, bee eaters, drongos, kingfisher and many species we couldn't recognize right from the porch. Coming to the hospitality and stay, the owners Darshan and Rekha are extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was very tasty and fresh with different varieties of dishes across all meals. And the coffee ground from their plantation was so flavorful and aromatic that you can simply sit on the porch sipping it all day. They also do a campfire in the evenings with snacks. There is also a Raindance spot but as it was raining during our stay we didnt really need it :) Darshan was also very helpful with recommendations for sight-seeing and directions and his local knowledge helped us to see great views and landscapes at Patla Betta, Kaginahare view point, Bisile View point. He also took us for a walk through his plantation where they grow cardamom, coffee, pepper, oranges among other things... Overall it was a fantastic stay and experience at Cardamom Grove and we definitely hope to go back there again someday.…

It's a great place to stay, it was a best experience staying here for two days, location is very beautiful and close to nature. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner Dharshan. Home cooked food was yummy loved pork dry, ghee rice, chicken fry, biryani and many more. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Places we visited Mookanamame falls, Bisle view point, Patla betta,Railway trek, kukke shri subraanya temple and kaginahare view point. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again.

This was the best weekend I spent. I was really looking for a quick getaway to rejuvenate myself. At the same time, I was a little concerned about the safety protocols. This homestay just served the purpose. A beautiful place amidst the lush green surroundings, hospitable, clean, and the safery measures were in check. A must visit place. If you are looking for a mind detox, I would highly recommend Cardomom resort as I'm sure you are going to wake up rejuvenated and feeling better like never before.

Cardamom homestay is definitely one to be experienced in Sakleshpur. The homestay is managed passionately by owner Mr. Darshan. He is very polite, amicable and a perfectly good host. He recommended us to some of the most amazing view points and Waterfalls nearby. The recommendations were perfectly up to the mark and became the highlights of our trip in terms of experience. The food made by his wife was very homely and had very good taste especially the BissiBeli bath, pepper chicken, carrot payasam, chicken gravy, sambhar, etc. Most important point to mention is the unmatched hygiene and care that we experienced in this homestay which is very crucial in these Covid times. The homestay is very well maintained and Mr. Darshan is a very good host- Professional and very welcoming. We were a party of 7 and he was very kind enough to not take anymore guests. So we pretty much had the entire property for ourselves. Food was decent and can be better. Property is Very close to mookanamane falls.

Our stay in this property was Excellent, thanks to Mr Darshan and his family (the hosts) who evinced personal and intimate interest in making our stay very memorable. Their warm hospitality blended with well planned visits to some breathtaking beauties of the Sahyadri range in the Western Ghats is highly appreciated.
