I just loved my stay there. It was too good, and the weather was cold and nice. It has some really good activities to chill out with friends, and some perfect spot for a picturesque view. Overall, worth visiting and they serve some amazing local cuisines, especially their chicken curry with akki roti was mind blowing. Good food, good place, worth the money.

We went there on 12 to 14th of may. Hospitality is not up to the mark. Pool pond is in quality Mud volleyball was not clean Food was worst here. Not at all worth going if you are a foodie. Taste is bad, no choices, very limited items. I believe lot more to improve. Please discuss with them before going.

Location is why you should go here. There are many resorts around and I don't find any reason why you should pick this place over the rest. We friends stayed in a 10 bedded room. Yes! 10 beds. But they have only 1 bathroom for you. Imagine 10 friends/family members fighting for bathroom space. The food is decent. Nothing special. But as is with most of the resorts/homestays these days, vegetarians are 2nd class citizens. What special you have? Sir we have two spicy chicken items. What do you have in veg? Sir, beetroot palya and beans palya. This is the usual scenario these days. To hell with you if you are a vegetarian. Fortunately, the manager (good guy by name Jobi) was very courteous and had some egg dishes made for me that saved my day. The room boy Basavaraju was also very courteous. But for these two, I'm sure Saalugudda would've been a forgettable experience. The highlight has to be the visit to a peak nearby with no name. Ask Jobi to take you to the distant peak, not the nearby one. The view from there is absolutely spectacular, breathtaking. With no sight of anything manmade in the vicinity, you're in the lap of nature. Try spend sometime there and let the beauty of nature sink in. Rooms were not bad. Firecamp arranged every night. Winter in January was very cold at night. Mansoons must be more exciting both within the property and on the peak. Overall, not a bad experience.
