Kadumane Hills Resorts was the first getaway that my family took after the Covid lockdown. We, a family of four, stayed here from 26th-29th of September 2020.
This resort is tucked away and is nestled between beautiful green fields on one side and large vast open green spaces on the other. The property itself has lots of space to roam around with stunning views. They have an adventure area near the dining room that will keep the kiddos and adults alike happily occupied.
Don't miss the sunset views from the dining area! The dining area is clean and spacious. The food was also very good, especially their rasam is a must-try. The spread is good and food tasty. They introduced us to some of the local food with kori roti being my favorite! You can request them for additional eats, like omlettes for breakfast or those yummy fries for evening snack (in addition to what they offer) and they happily oblige.
The rooms are spacious with a nice porch that has great views of the fields below. The porch has nice seating space with table and chairs making for an ideal place to enjoy a laid back cup of coffee/tea! The rooms and bathrooms are clean. One drawback of the room is that they did not have cupboards/tables for luggage. But, on the other hand the space that has been saved by not having cupboards, helps accommodate more bedding. So, it can easily accommodate two additional single beds in a room. As we are in the outdoors, do expect the regular dose of insects.Remember we are in their habitat and enjoy them! Keep your porch lights on if you don't want them in your room!
Do note that the cottages lie a little below the dining area and there is a couple of minutes walk up to the dining area. If you are going with senior citizens do take this into account. They are building cottages near the dining area which may be ready by the time you visit, so do enquire with them if you want to be accommodated near the dining area.
Also, currently the car park is a little away from the resort. But they have a jeep that will take you from the parking area to the resort. There is only a kaccha road today but they are laying roads and maybe completed soon.
There is no Wi-fi on the property but the Airtlel data connectivity is excellent.
The staff are very courteous and accommodating. There are plenty of local attractions around the resort. Do talk to the manager (Deepak) to find out about them . We went to a waterfall, just a km away from the resort. We drove right up to the top of the waterfall! You can hike down as well if you don't mind the leeches! We also went to a view point. This was the highlight of the trip for my 9 year old! A windy climb to the top of the hill had stunning and sweeping views of the valley below.
There was a lot of trepidation traveling in Covid times, but the staff had meticulously sanitized the rooms and common areas. Also, the places we visited (the waterfall and view point), it was just us and nobody else.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the place and would definitely love to go back with friends and family again.

I visited the estate along with my family of 8 members. We were accomodated in the family cottage which is extremely clean and well maintained. The owner Mr. Prasad was available at the estate and he showed us aroud the serene place.
The estate is placed very near to the sakleshpur city. Visitor Vehicles are allowed only upto certain point after which the estate people escort us in their own 4x4 vehicle.
This place is a boon for vegetarians like us and the food prepared by the staff is simply awesome.
They also provide coffee tea and snacks on demand.
Overall, a very pleasant and happy weekend stay for our family.

We had an amazing time at Kadumane Hills Veg Resort. The resort offers a lot of activities for kids, including swimming pool, rope activities, and zipline. The visit to the local waterfalls and sunset point was wonderful . The early morning walk on the paddy fields was a surreal experience. The location is serene and calm, making it the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city with your family. The food was excellent too... This resort is highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun-filled and relaxing getaway.

The place is way into the hills with the last stretch a little difficult to reach. But the keep is provided from Kadumane hills and it’s very comfortable. The accommodation is nestled in the hills and the caretaker is very helpful and friendly. Food also is very tasty.. must visit if in the region

We, family of 5 members visited kadumane resort recently. It is a homely resort situated at a perfect landscape, with scenic view from cottages. Food served was very tasty. The staff are very friendly and approachable ,special mention to Bharath and Deepak who were helpful throughout our stay. The pet dogs( Kariya and Chummi) entertained and kept us engaged in the resort. The dining area and rooms were good , but could be better. We had a fun time around campfire at night. The resort staff took us to a beautiful view point and falls on their jeep and the ride was enjoyable , the walk to a small temple near the resort was entralling. All in all it was a well spent 2 days in Kadumane Hills resort. Will recommend it to my friends.

Excellent property with killer views. Most of the cottages over look a huge valley and reserve forest. The cottages are clean and spacious.The dining area is spacious and open and it is a joy to sit there and enjoy the awesome views of value and forest. Google maps can be used to reach the property without any issues. There are lot of activities for kids and adults alike. There are a couple of super friendly dogs in the property and the kids loved playing with them. The owner and staff are very courteous and friendly. We loved the food..all veg affair buy very very tasty. Overall a great stay and we will surely visit again..

I visited Kadumane hills along with my family end of Aug'20. The experience was amazing - way above than what I expected. It is a beautiful and well maintained property, with scenic views & waterstreams all around. Lots of options for kids to play around. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful. Deepak, Raghavendra answered all our questions patiently. They made us feel so welcomed. My family relished the food at Kadumane. It was yum & delicious. They've a terrific cook at Kadumane. Kadumane estate only allows visitors those book for stay, we went the place to visit only. gate kipper not open the gate, only allow us to walk half an kilometer to see tea plantation, but I must say the view is magnificent, greenery all around, please see the snaps, the natural beauty can not be express in words. there is a canteen which is only food option, we have some idly and vada there. also visit a temple, but they not allow us to visit tea factory. Some negative points, no facility of toilet, drinking water and there is major chance for leaches can catch, which we had experienced. the road through sakleshpura is good, though narrow, but the Condition of national highway NH75 is worst (hassan to sakheshpur, particularly after manjarabad fort ), full of pot holes and most of the parts work in progress, make driving is more difficult.
