Just spent an amazing night at the QQ Hotel in Chapala, Mexico. Located close to the beautiful Malecon, restaurants and bars, the Hotel is clean and spacious with delightful gardens. Rob and Lori, the owners, are welcoming and very friendly. Nothing is too much trouble from recommendations for a place for dinner or organising a trip to the airport. Although...

We have been to the QQ several times. It is so beautiful, the owners are English speaking and friendly, the ambiance is very tranquil, rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great breakfasts. Nice pool. Reasonable price.

We have stayed at QQ several times, most recently in January 2016. It is located a half block off the Malecon, close to numerous restaurants. It is in a quiet location, and the shared "garden" area is wonderful place to wander through, or to find a spot to just sit. The rooms are unique, with no two being alike. We...

We tried to book this property due to a sudden death in the family in Chapala. This is a property advertised as a Bed & Breakfast that does not actually include a breakfast depending upon the means of booking the reservation. Further, upon making a reservation, one may expect an immediate demand by email from the proprietor for a cash...

This reviewer has not stayed at our Hotel He reserved in January 2015 through Booking.com a world wide booking agency. The terms and conditions were documented regarding meal plan, cost of habitation, and taxes. Breakfasts are provided at a nominal cost if the guest so chooses, we also negotiate to suit guests needs. Deposits are required as with any hotel...

(I wrote a review after our stay last Feb but somehow it didn't post. Since we'll soon be returning, I wanted to share our photos from last Feb. Photos are worth 1000 words. It's simply beautiful and tranquil -- a place to get away from it all. Yes, definitely worth it.

As you walk through the front door of the QQ you feel like you are entering Paradise. The gardens are large, lush, flower filled and tranquil. Oh the serenity!! Then there are the friendly, helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Last, but not least, the rooms. (I managed to have a look at most of them while I was...

We were greeted warmly by the hotel staff and shown our rooms. There were three of us staying and our rooms were charming and spacious in this historic, inviting hotel. It was quiet and the rooms were very clean. The hotel grounds are lush with glorious plantings creating a sense of privacy at every turn. The location of the hotel...

Upon entering the property you feel that you are truly in Mexico and not some cookie cutter hotel dropped in the middle of another country. The grounds are clean and gorgeous with an abundance of tropical plants, Mayan statutes, and a welcoming pool. The different named rooms of which I toured are all interesting and unique. Our room was extremely...

This place is in a really weird location. It is alone off on a side street that is not close to anything, across from an empty broken down lot. The entrance is a big tall door that is locked, along a concrete wall, with no way to see into the hotel, like it is for protection. There is almost no...

Interesting ?? We are located half a block from the Malecon and Lake Chapala, centrally located near the church, town plaza, bus station and many restaurants and shops all of these are a two minute walk from us. We do not have a concrete wall, we have a beautiful stone wall, and lovely carved doors which are constantly the subject...

I have been going to Chapala for the past two years and stayed at the QQ 4 or 5 times and would not even consider staying anywhere else. All rooms are suites but my favorite is the Carriage House which offers comfortable accommodation for two or three, a small kitchenette, a private patio and easy access to the owner's apartment...
