Best accommodation ever. Secluded, private, sexy, spacious, spa, outdoor plunge pool, all set in a rainforest. Walk to the lookout was VERY strenuous (& we've done an ironman and consider ourselves reasonably fit!!). 2 nights is plenty but three would be good!!!
I took my partner to stay in the Byron mountain view lodge as a birthday surprise. Absolutely everything had been thought of and the state of the art accommodation exceeded our expectations. Complete privacy and luxury. Beautifully and cleverly designed with stunning wooden furniture and...More
What can I say ... I don't give 10 out of 10 ever ... this one, is 11!
This will become an annual retreat for us and is probably the nicest place we ever stayed. Romantic nature indulgence.
Even survived the Lookout walk!
An absolutely stunning place of serenity, privacy, beauty and relaxation. We came here on our honeymoon and had the honeymoon package. We also received an upgrade, to the mountain view lodges and the property were absolutely stunning. The rooms cosy and relaxing with warmth, fireplaces,...More

I've heard that the plunge pool in Cedar lodge is always nice and hot, as it doesn't use solar heating. However, people seem to agree that the solar heated pools of the mountain-view lodges are pretty much useless in winter, ect, because they are freezing cold? For a guaranteed 'heated' pool, which lodge? Or is it better value just grabbing a cheaper lodge?

You are right that the Mountain View Lodge pools are solar heated and will not be warm enough in winter. They do have amazing views and big two person marble bath which also has great views. The pool at Cedar Lodge will be about 28 degrees (please note that it is not an outdoor Jacuzzi). The Glass Terraces are always very popular. We are fairly heavily booked so it will depend on what is available on the dates you would like to visit. \

"I don't know about the other bungalows, they all seem to be very private, but Satinash was very special"
