The title says most of it but misses out the very friendly welcome that we received. Rooms are very attractive and breakfast is gargantuan (unless you show some restraint which is difficult in the face of great sausages and bacon). Great places to have dinner nearby so "what's not to like?"

My daughter and I spent the weekend at Primrose as we were attending a wedding. The welcome couldn`t have been better as Paul was in attendance as soon as the car drew up. He carried my bags up the stairs as we were staying upstairs in one of the cottages. Tea and coffee were offered but we needed to chill....

We stayed 2 nights in the Windmill Room at Primrose House. We received a very warm welcome from Paul and Liz. The Windmill Room was very spacious and pristine with a very comfortable king size bed and lovely shower. The breakfast was excellent with home made bread and preserves and fresh eggs from the hens that roam around the lawns....

We rented all of the rooms at Primrose House a few weekends ago for my wedding with myself and some family/friends staying the Friday night and a whole house full on the Saturday night. Paul and Susie are just wonderful and they really made all of us feel at home. Everyone had a great few days/nights there and breakfast was...

Like most people on business trips I tend to use chains for ease of billing/booking etc, but I'm just getting fed up with them, so I decided to go off menu and try a B&B for a change when I was working for a couple of days in nearby Tollerton. What a choice, I'm so glad to have chosen to...

Fantastic Farmhouse we stayed one night double ensuite, breakfast. Lovely setting and atmosphere, breakfast was excellent with home made bread still warm out the oven! Would recommend. Short 5 min walk into town centre, good selection of shops/takeaways. Comfiest bed I have ever slept in.

Me and my partner recently visited the primrose b&b , I decided to book this venue as you get so fed up off the same standard hotel chains and I wanted some thing with much more character and feeling to it , Also it's nice to support local businesses, upon arrival we was warmly greeted by Paul and Susie ,...

We "took over" Primrose House for my mother's 80th birthday celebration. Susie and Paul were so welcoming, allowing family and friends to gather in the breakfast room and spilling in to the kitchen for the "This is your Life" presentation with cake and champagne. Very pretty and comfortable rooms, and a most delicious breakfast catering for meat eaters, vegetarians and...

I recently stayed in one of the cottages (Bottom Cottage) and found the experience to be good. Although not used the room had a fridge, sink and microwave which would be handy if staying longer. The double bed was very comfortable. I found the parking quite tight in the yard but I guess you could park on the road. As...
