We recently visited Anand Kashi by the Ganges and it was a memorable excellent stay for 3 nights and 4 days. The Premium Grand Ganges view room was very spacious and beautiful decors. The view of the Ganges and mountains from our room every morning was spectacular. The hotel staff starting with Mr. Deepak Thomas, Subodh and chef Mr Upadhyay at Ana Rasa restaurant were very helpful attentive and gave us a wonderful experience by serving delicious food. The hotel spa staff Kamal , Manisha did a fabulous job and seem well experienced. Inhouse staff Reena also was very nice. She specially came to our room and gave us a bottle of Ganga water. Overall we had an excellent stay and we highly recommend this property to people who want a tranquil stay. We plan to visit Anand Kashi again in future. - Smita T

The staff at Anand Kashi made our trip memorable. We visited Anand Kashi on the occasion of my partner's birthday and they truly made it memorable.
The location of property is ideal - it is on the banks of Ganga Ji with 3 decks overlooking the riverside. There is a small beach where Ganga Aarti is performed every evening. The rooms are so designed that each one of them overlooks Ganga Ji. There is an infinity pool where one can have fun as a family. There is even a Spa and Gym for those interested. There is mandir inside the premises so you can start off your day by offering obeisances to devis and devatas.
The food is very very good. We liked the fact that local ingredients were used as much as possible. They also grow their own fruits and vegetables. This is a very sustainable way to live. The chefs also accommodated our request for sattvic food.
The staff is very helpful, proactive and courteous. Right from the manager, chefs, restaurant crew, housekeeping staff, security guard, reception staff - everyone was smiling and helpful. They went out of the way to decorate the room with birthday decorations and also arrange a delicious cake.
I would definitely recommend Anand Kashi to people who want a relaxing, luxurious and spiritual holiday on the banks of Mother Ganga.

It was a nice Holiday and well located and maintained property .On arrival was received by Manager of the property . Housekeeping and Room decoration with flowers and special arrangement for the Foot Spa was very good ,thanks to Rahul and Rohit . I’ve travelled across the world and have stayed in many properties but I must say that Anandkashi holds a very special place. The location is the most perfect with superb surroundings of lush green trees bearing fruits. The property design and feel is really good though I feel a little bit of touch up would be good in the rooms, to give even more luxurious feel. The property staff are just too good. They are available at your beck and call with solutions to all your requirements. I must say that this property has one of the best teams which leaves nothing unturned to make your stay memorable. Chef Upadhyay is a culinary master when it comes to food. Team led by Meenakshi makes your stay very very memorable with exemplary service. I would highly recommend this property and would visit it every year.

My wife and I just finished one of the most relaxing holidays of our lives. The location of the Resort right on the banks of the Ganges, at a point where there is a stretch of rapids provides a delightful view and a constant backdrop of the sound of the rushing waters of the Ganga.
The Resort is on a 200 year old property with a tiny temple and steps leading down to the Ganges bank where a nice dignified puja is performed every evening.
There are just 24 rooms spread across 3.5 acres and there are so many places to sit along the many hotel points overlooking the Ganga that you can always find a quiet spot to sit and be on your own conversing,reading or playing a card game. Our favourite time was bringing in the dawn with a cup of tea in the glass enclosed sit out along the Ganga banks.
The rooms are spacious and very tastefully done up, we loved the little touches like Multani Mitti for washing your face, the Ganesha & Shivling towel art made in the room by the HK Team, the unique toiletteries by Forest Essentials exclusive to the Resort, the soaked almonds left for us in the room one evening ..... all these were so much in keeping with the mood and ambience of the place.
A special shout out to Chef Upadhyaya and his team for the wholesome and delicious food. This was our first encounter with Garwhali cuisine and we absolutely loved the simplicity and delicate flavouring unique to this style of cooking. We loved every one of the many dishes we tried both the vegetarian and non vegetarian. There is only one restaurant, but since the food is delicious and the team so accomodating ( we could order dinner even as early as 6:30 ), that across our 4 night stay we never felt the need for another place to eat at.
The staff is mostly from local districts and their immense pride in the place, their warmth and hospitality was the other thing that stood out for us, across all functions , be it Security, Housekeeping, the restaurant staff, the gardening team.
In summary : a great Resort, at a great location, with great food, great service and a thoroughly relaxing and tranquil environment.

Even though I checked in within first two weeks of commencement of operations, things were surprisingly well managed and spic & span. The location is outstanding and one of the greatest that I have been to across the globe. The property is hard by the river which looks pristine. The warm white sand beach full of rocks adds to the charm. All through the day you hear the soothing sound of the stream and some natural springs that flow through the property. Limited rooms also makes the property very exclusive. Taj has created enough capacity of sitting around while enjoying nature. The yoga area( under the shade of trees) and infinity pool also very thoughtfully done. Even in the peak of summer you don’t feel any heat at all even during the day time.
Fnb offers warm service with some high quality local cuisine. Concierge is ready to help all the time with car bookings and all the right tourist tips.
I will definitely recommend and come back before this property gets more expensive than udaipur. This will happen very soon.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the hotel, thanks to the exceptional service provided by the entire team. A special mention goes to Ms. Meenakshi and Ms. Rupali for their warm and attentive hospitality. Mr. Shubham from the front office was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Mr. Nitin from security ensured a safe and secure environment. The culinary delights prepared by Chef Mr. Upadhya were exquisite, and the housekeeping team led by Mr. Naresh Kumar (including Mr. Vinod, Mr. Rohit, and Mr. Mukesh) kept the rooms impeccably clean and comfortable. Staying at Anandkashi was a truly once in a lifetime experience. We travelled as a group of 8 women from various parts of the world (Japan, Italy, UK, France, USA, Sweden) and were welcomed in the very special Taj Hotel way: Anandkashi is less like a hotel and more like a home from home. This place is truly special. It was everyone in our group's favourite Taj hotel we stayed in. It is so clean, safe, the food created by Chef Upadhyay is outstanding. The staff, from the immaculate rooms from Mahaveer (he works so hard and even created beautiful artworks out of flowers), to the service of Manish and all the waiting staff, to Rupali and the management team all under the kind and professional guidance of manager Sri Nivedan Kukreti. Afternoon tea was served on the deck, and you can tell the staff are well treated and cared for as is the Taj way. The beach Aarti is utterly moving, we were lucky enough to be there for Diwali and it was spectacular. The Mandir is wonderful. We all felt so lucky to have stayed at the worldwide gem. The area is quiet, peaceful and calming and so beautiful. I almost want to keep it a secret! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts Anandkashi, we look forward to next year's trip.

Yes Anandkashi is the former Neemrana property but now run by IHCL, Neemrana has relocated and opened a new hotel named Glasshouse further down the road.
There are more places to choose from in the Bhairgarh area.
