We stayed here for 2 nights on June 2 and June 3, 2023. This boutique hotel is a photographer's paradise. Artistically designed and built by its owner Mr. Sanjay Kumbkarni. He has captured brilliant photographs in his career as a geologist and has decorated those memories all over the hotel. Each photograph has a message tagged to it that teaches us why every moment in our life is precious and divine which we often tend to overlook/ignore. Best things - Rooms are quite spacious - they provide an extra bed when needed. Guests staying here should spend time in the meditation room; the library and the hotel terrace which gives divine views of the Dhauladhar mountains behind. Improvements (None) - If our heart is happy - our mind doesn't go looking for anything negative. So Please stay here / have food here when in Dharamshala / McLeodganj. Food prepared will delight your taste buds- they have a choice of menu that will appeal to any visitor whether Indian or International traveler. Would like to thank the entire hotel team for their brilliant hospitality and service mindset. We had a great time at the the Divine Hima. Sanjay has done a phenomenol job of keeping the property top notch and the staff provides great service and hospitality. Special mention to Vikram for his service through our stay. We enjoyed some amazing himachali food but please note that some items may need advance notice. The hotel is 5 mins walking from tbe Norbulingka Institiute and 2 mins from the local taxi stand so makes for a great location as well.

Truly warm and authentic service. It felt like home thanks to Sanjay (the owner) Maneesh (head manager) and the entire team. They were always available for every need and desire. You simply don’t see this type of service often. I’m grateful to have discovered this special gem while in Dharmashala.

Dharamshala is a special place in India and staying at the Divine Hima makes it even more so. The setting, the facilities and the services are outstanding. The owner, Sanjay and his staff (Maneesh etc.) treats each guest as visiting family. My wife & I would quiz him about our plans for sightseeing and he'd help us every day. His suggestions to visit places in the Kangra Valley were right on. The area of himachal is truly serene and Sanjay's chef is amazing. We had some of the best meals there. Recommend you stay in Dharmashala and make that your base to see McCleodganj, Kangra, Palampur

Had a great experience at Divine Hima. The hotel has a warm and cody feel. Good collection of photographs and artefacts. The owner, Sanjay took personal care of us and suggested itenaries to make the most of our time in and around Dhatamshala. Enjoyed all our meals and the staff is really caring. Recommend this place if you're looking for a different experience.

6 of my U.S. work colleagues and I spent 2 nights at The Divine Hima last weekend, and found it to be absolutely terrific. The food, environment, service and accommodations were all top notch, as was Sanjay's hospitality. A great basecamp for exploring the Dharamshalla area. Highly recommended.

Stayed in this place for a day. Place is wonderful, collections of artefacts are very impressive. Impressed by Mr Kumbakarni's drawings, memorablia......everything. Rooms were clean, all amenities present. Mr Awasthi and Lalith of front office were very courteous and helpful. Food was delicious, Sandeep( hope i have got the name correct) was caring. Paratha and scrambled eggs wre amazing. Would recommend this place for a stay.

From the moment we saw this hotel we knew we had made the right choice. It was amazing! It’s charming and cozy with wonderful service. It’s surrounded by the Himalayan mountains so the view from our terrace in the morning was breathtaking.The owner and his wife live across the walk and he made daily visits at dinner time and spent time chatting with us. It has a spiritual and artistic air and is very peaceful . The food was delicious (both Indian and Western cuisine) and the waiters warm and efficient. All spoke English. We would most definitely return and I highly recommend it.
