came here with my partner and wouldn’t have felt more welcomed by the amazing staff. Everyone is so friendly and they go out of their way to make the experience much more special. There is a huge selection of restaurants, some of our favourites were carne diem, jiao wu house of chilli and we also had a meal on the beach which one incredible. Breakfast every morning was lovely and there was a huge selection for everyone. The rooms are cleaned twice a day and everything on the island is maintained to such a high standard, even when you wake for sunrise, the staff are cleaning the beaches and getting everything organised. The combination of the islands means that there is so much to do and see and we felt like we had so much to do while visiting which was fun. We did have a massage at the spa also which was lovely and I would recommend during your stay. I hope to one day come back because this was an experience of a life time and I am so grateful to all the staff for making it a wonderful experience. Thank you. …

My one night stay at Saii lagoon was the most amazing getaway. Great service, food, evening program, everyone with amazing smiles! Special thanks to Dhumerj for taking amazing care of me during my stay. Also Sajje, Firoo and Shaarim thank you for your lovely smiles and kindness it wouldn’t have been an incredible experience if i didn’t meet such lovely people like you! Not to forget, (Lèn Be Well) SPA treatment was excellent! I am horrible at remembering names, which is very sad because the therapist who gave me my first massage definitely deserves mention. I would totally recommend to visit and i’m excited for my next visit to Saii Lagoon!

The staff here are always smiling and can’t do enough for you. The hotel arrange a meet and greet cocktail party with the managers so you can make suggestions to improve your stay or give positive feedback on things to keep on doing. We mentioned a very minor maintenance issue to Glenn the Entertainment and Kids club manager and later that day it was fixed and we had flowers in the bathroom as a bonus. Glenn was great to chat with, always stops when he sees us to check on things and is a great member of the management team! Other members of staff to mention that go the extra mile are Jack, who first so warmly welcomed us to the Hotel, Kyn the bartender and Alim the waiter at the pool bar who look after us brilliantly every day, the guide at the Marina discovery centre who was so knowledgeable and passionate in sharing Maldivian history, culture and even details of the hotel build, including the story of Emma the turtle, who was protected by moving the original location - impressive to hear that such significant businesses worked so hard to protect the environment, no doubt at great cost. The buggy drivers are also brilliant sharing their experiences and information about the Maldives and the resort, even the non customer facing staff all smile and say hello as they go about their business. The sea life is amazing and we were even treated to a pod of dolphins swimming past the pool bar on day 2! This is my idea of paradise and I would highly recommend so far!…

This hotel. Is beautiful, the only things that made me feel quite sad, was, one, the staff are just not friendly, we went to Maldives last year and stayed in the oblu select and I tell you now they were so friendly it was the best part of my holiday, to be made to feel welcome means more to me than anything, I felt like every time I ordered a drink it was frowned upon, even though I paid an absolute fortune to stay here and 2, the food wasn't a Patch on the Oblu select or even the rui in dubai, which is only 4 star, there was barely any selection and especially for children. I had to ask for a wine at lunch and dinner, and when I did I felt it was a chore for them! Same as when I asked for ice, or just fries for my kids in the bar. Such a shame because if the staff were kinder and more friendly, I'd have put up with poor selection of food. The doctor on site was absolutely amazing though, as my daughter had a uti while we were there and he was 5 Star, however we paid for a private butler, who we saw once when we checked in. The rooms are beautiful, our cleaner of the room was amazing. It's just the bar and restaurant staff, in the buffet and bar, there just isn't that friendly service we had last year in the Oblu. I felt unwelcome. Which made me feel so disappointed. Otherwise if your not phased by that, then it's perfect. We come from the UK, where no one appreciates your custom and I felt like that here. …

We have stayed in many other island resorts in the Maldives including those that can only be accessed by seaplanes or a domestic flight to Male. Yet none are having this unique combination of reclusiveness (ir you don’t feel the crowd), exclusivity (the staff recognise us after 1-2 days) and connectivity (it has many specialty restaurants along the Marina Cove) and the famed Hard Rock Cafe, in addition to all the main restaurants within the hotels. The half and full-board deals give us utmost flexibility to the extend we can even choose 3 main courses and 3 desserts instead or the normal Appetizer/Main/Dessert per person for the two adults. Our 4 kids get complimentary meals all the time. As part of our Diamond membership, we were given daily evening cocktails at the pool bar. The best cocktail must the the SAii Blue Lagoon. Dr Akilan, the resort doctor treated my son for a laceration wound including stitching and daily dressings. He is amazingly skilled, patient and genuine. Kudos!…

Wow 🤩🤩🤩 Wow……… This place is paradise, absolute paradise, from the moment you land in Male the hotel are for your every need. Within 10mins of coming out the airport our cases were in the boat and we was off to SAii. On arrival we was met at the marina and whisked off to reception for drinks, checkin was quick and off to the room we was taken. The representative explained all about the resort plus got us on the the hotel app ( this was very useful through out our entire stay ) which is used to book lunch/ dinner reservations, requests for buggies if required or any other query’s you may have. Some reviews mention the resort reminds them of a slice of Orlando, in some ways it does but this does not detract in any way you having a quiet holiday. Although most rooms are full on both islands the place never looked busy……which was great. The views from the rooms, beach club and especially the bridge that connects SAii to the marina are breathtaking. Dinning out was great, there are so many different types of restaurants for you to choose from, we went all inclusive which meant we couldn’t use two of the restaurants (didn’t impact us in anyway). Staff are great, always there to help in anyway to make your vacation special, Edd at Hard Rock Cafe, John at the pool bar and Sultan at the cultural centre are just a few who went above and beyond ……cheers guys 👍 You’ll be able to use bikes to move around the island, these are free, along with snorkel equipment and canoes. There’s some other great things at the dive centre as well as morning/evening snorkel/diving trips……..obviously these come at a cost. We also popped over to Hard Rock hotel to take a look, this place is also included in the all inclusive package if you choose it 👍😁 Although very nice, SAii is the place you need to stay at, everything here is classy, pool area, beaches, position and most of all the view. If you choose to stay at Hard Rock, make sure your view is of SAii Lagoon island……..trust me it’s the best, the other side will be leaving you a little disappointed and envious of those on the other side……..you’ve been warned 🤷🏻♂️ Returning to SAii Lagoon is not a matter of if, but when 😁😁😁😁😁 Big thanks to everyone at the resort for making this the most breathtaking and relaxing vacation me and my wife have ever experienced.
