We ate here one evening, not the cheapest restaurant in resort, we went for higher end priced food and both of us were ill for 2 days! Avoid eating here at all costs, a disgrace when you consider this is one of the most expensive restaurants serving western type food that still gives you Delhi belly.

We stayed in an ac room and it was very simple and the little furniture that was there had obviously been there since the place was built but it was ok. Breakfast was included and it was a good buffet. We felt the restaurant staff were not particularly helpful or friendly. When we asked for anything special we felt we...

We booked 4 nights at Ciarans in February and were really looking forward to our stay. The pictures on the website look lovely and we had head glowing reviews. Prior to our arrival I pre-paid for a sea-facing hut and booked a cab through Ciarans from the airport to the hotel. We booked our reservation months in advance and confirmed...

Firstly, we apologize "AGAIN" for what happened with the booking. We do accept our mistake and we understand that , not only you but even if we were the guests we would have reacted the same way you did. You alleged us by saying that we did not apologize , wherein we did apologize to you not only once or...

Accommodation is extremely noisy (fireworks, dogs barking/howling, crows crawing, drums going) all night long. It's also dark, dingy, hot and very uncomfortable. Nowhere to comfortably lay back and relax in the heat. If you're not planning on sleeping, stay here, if you do want to catch some zz's, definitely don't stay here!

I can't recommend this place enough - they are soooooo good to us when we stay here! The guys in the restaurant especially Krishna - all of them - were so kind to our son and even let him pretend wait on some of the tables when it was quiet! We just feel so at home here. Don't expect perfection...

Ciaran's is one of the nicest places on the beach, also one of the most expensive. It has a central location which is great. The restaurant is decent (all the prices on the beach are pretty much the same) and the breakfast included is ok (bread, fruit, yogurt, cereal, instant coffee. But eggs are extra and if you can't stomach...

This was our second stay at Ciarans, we were there 3 years ago. It is without doubt one of the nicest, relaxed, and beautifully set up places to stay. Apart from the setting the thing that really makes it so pleasant is the staff. The guys at Ciarans are the best. In fact they are friends. We will be returning...

We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights, firstly in a pond side room and then in the AC wind tunnel room. Ciaran's is a beautiful hotel right in the heart on Palolem. Some of the staff are really friendly and helpful (Linda who managed reception plus Chris and Paul in the restaurant in particular). The free breakfast and afternoon...
