This was our first visit to Goa and after looking at several options decided to try The Art Resort - a great decision! We booked a hut one row back from the beach. Everything about our stay was perfect from the moment our taxi dropped us off to the moment it picked us up 7 days later.
First the accommodation. The huts a air conditioned and kept spotlessly clean with new bath and beach towels every day. The fridge and bathroom was kept topped up with bottles of mineral water. The bed itself was very comfortable. It’s the little touches like a mosquito coil being lit outside each hut every night that set the Art Resort apart. Our cleaner was lovely and looked after us well as did all the staff. If ever we needed anything we only had to ask. They also provide a free tuk-tuk when we needed to get some more cash from the ATM. Every morning the beach is cleaned as the sun loungers are put out.
Next the restaurant. Again, a wonderful experience. There is an extensive menu serving both Indian and international dishes. To start the day, four types of smoothie, teas, coffees, fresh fruit and many cooked dishes. Lunch and dinner follow and in the evening the sun loungers are replaced with tables allowing you to dine right by the gentle sea. Our waiter Deepak looked after us so well throughout the week. The food was always delicious - highlights include the hummus, felafels, clams and aubergine and rocket salad at lunch and for dinner the red snapper, Xacuti prawns, vindaloo and various tandoori dishes cooked right by the beach.
Overall a wonderful week that has made us want to come back...again and again.

We stayed here for 4 nights after a long 2 week business trip throughout Southeast Asia. We were in Palolem 7 years ago and said that someday we would return and stay here. I can’t say enough good things about this boutique hotel on the beach. The rooms are spotless, the a/c and hot showers work great and our outdoor seating area was the perfect way to start and end our day. The restaurant and staff at this resort could not be nicer, we felt taken care of all day long. Big shout out to Raj our bartender who was a delight to talk to everyday and who also made me the best gin martinis every night. If you are looking for a place to stay in this area stop right now and book here! I promise we will be back!

Stayed here for 6 nights after a week in kerala. It was the perfect place to relax. Location is perfect - at the southern end of palolem beach which was a bit quieter and had perfect calm sea. Rooms are large with air con, big bed, room for luggage storage etc. Also have an outside chill out hut with views of beach. The restaurant is really good with views of the sea, loads of paintings by local artist on the walls (we bought one as a souvenir), and good food and drinks! The staff were all really friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend and will be back!

what can i say about this resort, the attention to detail is second to none, the price is not the cheapest but it is definitely worth the money. the quality of service the accommodation and above all the attentive of the staff made our short stay the best so far on our travels around India. we stayed in Hut 8 with an elevated hut as a balcony to relax out of the sun. two litre bottles of water and two bottles of coke/ 7 up each morning A/C rooms made the rooms comfortable restaurant and bar on the beach which served excellent quality food.

This was our fourth visit to this property and we were thoroughly satisfied. We stayed here as a couple, with friends and this time we stayed with our 7 year old son. It was a brilliant stay. The resort ranks high on cleanliness and courtesy of the staff. The beach facing rooms are the best as you can just sit across alone without any exposure to other people especially in covid times.
The beach beds and restaurant were sanitized at regular intervals. There are multiple wifi and so its a great place for workcation. The beach cottages have a little comfy sit out area where you can order food and drinks an watch the sunset/sunrise.

My husband and I and 2 daughters stayed for 5 nights at the end of a India/ Nepal trip. We absolutely loved this place. The staff were amazing and very attentive. Every single staff member was friendly and attentive and genuine. The owners were friendly and always had a chat and checked in with us. You get allocated a waiter for your stay, we had Kamal who was fabulous, he was very attentive and looked after us very well, he truly was lovely. The accomodation was excellent and cleaned every day to a very high standard. The beach and water was clean and the food at the restaurant was the best we had in India. The resort pays attention to detail and you notice it right away. We will definitely be back , we had a fabulous stay. Thank you 🙏

Wow wow wow. Sometimes you don’t want to leave a review in case the place gets busy and you can’t return!!! But this place was amazing.
We arrived frazzled after 24 hours stuck in an airport having missed a connection and the team couldn’t have been more helpful in making sure we arrived and got a chance to take a breath and get ready for the short time we had there (thank you Joshi). I cannot emphasise how amazing the place is, super relaxed, you feel at home straight away. We made the right choice and sacrificed a bit of room for a Honeymoon Suite, the location and view were stunning. The room has everything you need in it and the staff maintain it brilliantly.
The beach outside is simply beautiful and the view back to the resort from the waters edge is something you see in movies. You have to pinch yourself to believe you’re really there. We spent hours playing in the waves with the kids with no fear about safety as the water does not get deep and a lifeguard keeping an eye on things.
The Live entertainment was good as well. Good mix of music and appreciated by the guests there. Finished at a reasonable time, so no worries that it will disturb you.
Cannot wait to come back, the 3 days we had were no where near enough, would love to get involved with the yoga and art classes next time. Thanks Bhuwan ji for your hospitality and making us feel part of your family.

Just awesome place to stay with family, friends or if you are going alone also. A place where you can spend again and again. Room,location,ambience,spa,garden,swing and well trained team cause Owner himself is too supportive and helpful. His creativity and thoughtfulness can be visualised in each corner of the resort. Maintaining Protocol given for Covid. First day we reached late Manager and team suported and waited late and given briefing about the room and services,Owner himself take care that at this late hr my children get the hot food. Any food you ask for it is available and they prepare as per your taste. Its value for money you spend.

I booked have for 3 nights and extended. Palolem it’s self is a very special place and my second time. Of all the 5/6 star hotels I have stayed in the service here is just as good. The owner and manager is such a great people’s person and chats too all the guests and makes everyone feel so welcome. It’s definitely the most classy for all accomodation in the area. The rooms are beautifully decorated and designed considering it has to be taken down every 6 months to be rebuilt. We stayed in 2 different rooms, sea front and set back with a look out point, both were great. I usually like to try different restaurants every night but the food was so good we ate at art resort most nights. I highly recommend the tandoori. I hope to make it back before the end of the season. Thanks for a great time !

This was our fourth trip to the ART Resort and it’s heartening to see that the place continues to build on its laid back and serene beach vibes.
Do not come here expecting plush rooms/ cabins, they are enough for a comfortable stay but a far cry from being luxurious. Come here for the fabulous service, good food, unbeatable location on the beach and great views from every room. Opt for the Honeymoon Cabins for their uninterrupted each views and sit out area.
The food deserves a special mention. It’s tasteful, fresh and wholesome. Try their avocado toasts, tandoor items and fish in butter garlic sauce.
Want to specially call out Joshi, Kamal and Sunny for taking care of us during this trip. Bhuwan as always was accommodating and took in a room change request despite the place being full. Will certainly be back again.
