We loved The Ark Comforts, our preferred stay in Goa. We stayed for a month & we had a great relaxing time out of the busy Palolim & Patnum beaches. The Ark Comforts is on a semi-private beach, it comprises 12 beautifully appointed A-frame chalets. Very comfy beds, lots of space, a private Jacuzzi bath in some of the chalets was lovely (we stayed in 2 separate chalets). Colomb Beach is quiet & clean with gentle waves lapping the sands. The restaurant is lovely, good fresh food, fresh pastries, fruit & eggs any way! Delicious coffee too. We highly recommend a stay here, you will love it!! Great location just off of Palolem beach in Goa, with it's own private beach / cove, and beach huts situated right on the beach front. Staff were great, breakfast included in the room rate, and the option to rent kayaks or pay for boat trips assisted by the friendly and welcoming staff. Just make sure that your AC is working as our room got quite hot during our stay. Also it's a little tricky to get to, but staff were helpful carrying our bags when we arrived / checked out so made minimal impact on us.

Magically! Cafe “the Ark Diner” at the hotel overlooking a small local beach. There are no endless crowds of tourists and traders scurrying around in front of your nose (plate). The staff is polite and attentive. The food will absolutely give a head start to neighboring establishments! Adapted for Europeans. Do you want it without too much spice? It will be without a riot of spices. Everything is delicious! They accept bank cards and without a 3% surcharge on the final price (as many neighbors do!) A definite recommendation to visit!

I stayed in this property for my anniversary. Planned for a memorable experience but Resort team made sure it resulted in pathetic experience. Starting from the room allotment which was delayed for more than 2 hrs. to water problems, Wi-Fi not working and late food service (at times it took more than 1 hrs. ) etc... Also we ended up paying 11K (apart from 35K for the room) for extra services which they charged for additional services was an utter waste. They have zero empathy towards guest satisfaction and last not but least most of the amenities that were listed in their website and other travel websites were false. They don't even have a proper parking and god knows about the security. They talk about values before you go to the property but It was just a trap that we fall into. Over valued and total waste of money.

We had the following issues: 1. Regular power failure that didn’t happen at any other hotels in the bay which was dangerous at points and meant we couldn’t work in our room, something we have to do. 2. We ate breakfast on the first morning with you and I was really unwell following this. Basic hygiene and food storage procedures aren’t followed with food left out in the sun for hours. There are chicken sandwiches covered in cellophane cooking for 3 hours and other strange options like Chinese sautéed vegetables, curry with a skin on with the lid up in the sun. Needless to say we didn’t eat with you again. I only wish I’d taken photos. 3. Basic hygiene in the room was not good- mainly the bathroom - quite disgusting. 4. Staff were really friendly and kind but you haven’t trained them as a hotel charging your prices should do. 5. You mis-sold this hotel saying it was on its own private beach and photo shopped out the huts behind on the images. It’s not so there are no loungers or shade options on the beach as all the other places in Palolem have. There are loungers on. Tiny area of grass but it’s very hot there and you’re right outside other peoples bedrooms. 6. The huts are very tired, in desperate need of an update and no way luxurious.
Mainly If this place was 5,000 rupees a night my complaint may only be small but you are seriously over charging for what you offer. There are places a quarter of the price with much nicer, cleaner huts, a good breakfast for quarter of the price.

Discovered this lovely little place when my wife and I were looking to spend a couple of days in southern Goa. The resort has 10 charming little wodden rooms built of excellent quality and beautifully furnished. Amazingly helpful and friendly staff add to the charm of your stay.

We are the boutique resort with luxury chalets built very close to the sea shore which provides access to the secluded beach where our guests enjoy more privacy than most 5 star resorts. Our guests get the privilege of spending 24 hours on the shore and come from different countries just to experience the location and our offerings. Water is always just few steps away from all of our chalets. While most 5 stars hotel guests has to walk through big lawn to enjoy the sea. We understand our guests and provide them with the best facilities which they appreciate and are happy with it. We're probably the rare resort which provides sea view from all the rooms, even from the bed. Strategic beach location and sea side property maintenance always adds up the huge expenses which justifies the price mostly appreciated by our guests. You would certainly change your outlook towards our resort once you stay with us. I would say one of the best property I ever stayed in Goa. Though reaching to the property is difficult as there is a narrow lane takes you the property but the moment you reach, you forgot the pain of walking in narrow street. Luxury cottage with everything just PERFECTLY done. Considering luxury cottages, my only recommendation is to work on food as in Bfast spread (change in bfast for some items atleast on daily basis) as i find monotonous and few items. Fruits missing. Thats only thing dint match with the property rest I still look forward to stay there again and having bfast at Palolem beach cafes which is just a walk away distance :) Please work on wifi, it hardly work! though in lap of nature we should avoid it :)

This place is a hidden gen of South Goa. Till you reach you are wondering but the moment you reach the breathtaking view will fill you with joy, peace and happiness. Just like names of their cottages. We stayed at happiness at ground level. Room is comfortable and aesthetically done. Feel of wooden house with lovely beach calms you and is worth for your money. Wheather u are on solo trip, couple or with family trip they have cottage for your need. They haven't started full fledged kitchen yet but they are setting up a kitchen/grill restaurant soon. Breakfast was limited but nice. You can order here from other local restaurants so lunch and dinner is also sorted but need to order at least an hr before u want to have your meal. Management is warm and welcoming. Helpful and cheerful. All in all worth a spent for sea facing property. Beach is amazing you will enjoy this place as it's kind of private. Only 2-3 properties have direct access.
