Palolem Beach, which is well known as 'Paradise Beach', is the uncrowned queen of Goa's beaches. About a mile long, this incredibly beautiful crescent cove is fringed by a shady rim of coconut palms and the whole beach is hemmed in at either end by rocky crags. Although this beach used to be known as idyllic and peaceful, it is getting livelier every year than its northern counterpart -- the Baga Beach. Palolem is a happening place with regular parties, music and what have you. We provides beautiful accommodation for all types of traveler with prices varying throughout the season.

We stayed here for 3N in the sea facing hut on the first floor booked through MMT. The superior sea facing rooms as understood from the owner can only be booked from booking.com. The rooms were small and did not have many amenities like TV, fridge, tea/coffee maker, charging points, etc. which we normally associate with hotels in similar price range. The huts used to shake all the times if someone walk in the aisle. The bathroom was clean however there was a foul smell which I suppose would be because of it is being on the first floor and some sewage issues. There are no other amenities in the hotel except a bar & restaurant. The view is the best part of the hotel. It is directly on the beach & hence we could see the sea & beach directly from the room/balcony. There is no swimming pool in case someone is looking for it. The staff was courteous and helpful. The service however was slightly slow. The food in the restaurant is average. We had dinner once. You can possibly explore other options around Palolem beach for food. Overall an average hotel with the location being the USP Tip: Opt for the superior beach facing huts if possible. But be ready to bear the loud music till late night.

The beach huts themselves were lovely, very clean and spacious, the bathroom flooded a bit after a shower but was fine, location was phenomenal. These huts are very loud at night, you are literally not even a metre from the bar area so it’s very loud until very late. The young waiting staff were friendly. The reason it lost stars is because of the noise but also because of the owner, he wasn’t very friendly and welcoming and made us feel uncomfortable, even when we were leaving and said goodbye he was very rude and just asked for key, no thank you or goodbye or anything. Wouldn’t stay here again because of that. But if you don’t mind a bit of late music, then these huts are amazing 🙌🏻

We stayed at their superior beach facing bungalow which is located bang on the beach. Our booking was done directly through the front desk. It was a nice small bungalow (It is a cute wooden hut with its own privacy so kindly do not take the literal meaning of a bungalow). It has all required basic amenities like a king size bed, hot water, air conditioner, some toiletries, towels, etc. The front side has a small balcony with chairs which directly faces the beach; We enjoyed sitting there at late nights and early mornings. Being on the beach we did observe flying insects near the lights but it was never a big problem. Almost the whole structure is of wood so when someone walks by one can hear the footsteps; However, we travelled as a couple & we were well aware and ready with all the pros and cons. Our stay was majorly intended to enjoy the majestic view and the cool breeze from the beach. We booked this particular category bungalow for 6.5K INR for a day which we felt a little over priced but then ours was a last minute booking so can't complain much (Try to workout a better deal). The house keeping staff is very well behaved and do their job properly. They also have a shack which serves food and beverages; We did have a meal here and there with them but I'd suggest there are plenty of better options available in walking distance.

The location of the place is beautiful, but the resort is waaay overpriced. Rs. 5000 a night where the hot water barely works, the shower is but a trickle, and the AC does not work. There are other resorts not far from the beach where the prices are lower, and the amenities are better. I would never want to stay in this place again. The rooms (so-called bungalows) and food is extremely pricey. One last thing, don't be fooled by the pictures. The bungalows look nothing like what's shown in the pictures.

Writing this review for future travellers as there are many things this place needs to improve like the quality of staff and number of staff in restaurants and kitchen. Breakfast opens around 9 am, if you order breakfast at 9 it gets delivered around 10 to 11 am. First you need to wait for an order and then it gets served. This place gets too many bookings but even though the quality of service is poor. About room service and cleaning they have same issues and cleans rooms every 2nd or 3rd day. The rooms they named like partial sea view and other but they don’t have such views. They focus on quality of rooms sold, not quality of services. The music they plays in afternoon is loud and annoying who would like to have afternoon sleep. Overall the location of the place is good but the experience is not expected as the popularity of this place.

Good location. Stone's throw away from the beach. Cooperative staff, clean and tidy. Couldn't try the food but plenty of options around. All this during the off season and most of all, I must say I got a pretty good deal even when I just walked in.

It was a v bad decision to stay here. apart from the location, nothing is nice. Service is pathetic, staff are rude at all times, poor facilties, ACs don’t work in the rooms, dirty smelly bathrooms, dirty linen, no room service. They play VERY LOUD MUSIC TILL 12 AT NIGHT, and after that just lower the volume slightly its still very disturbing. Cant sleep here at all. They’ll not reduce the volume of music at night even if ur feeling unwell. Very inconsiderate people. They don’t care about you, just take ur money. There is no sea view even from partial sea view rooms (the room we booked), only view of dense bushy palm trees. Food is overpriced. No sea view whatsoever from any room (as opposed to the pic shown on various sites) IT’S A FRAUD, NO SEA VIEW AT ALL. Overpriced place. No relaxation is ever possible in this place. Worst place to stay in palolem.
