If u r in party mood all the time in south this is the hostel to be. Had to leave my previous hostel wth bad memories they made sure all is forgotten. Its walking distance frm beach n lots of eating options all available n patnem beach is nearby.
I came to South Goa for a two day tour and ended up staying in The Lost Hostel for a Week. Reviewing the place: - Aesthetics : Looking from the outside I see a few Coconut Trees, a vibrant yellow building with murals of Beatles over it, a wall of colorful curtains & cherry on the top is a Cafe inside the premises with comfortable furniture to sit back & relax while munching your own snacks. -Accommodation : The Lost Hostel caters to distinctive categories of globe trotters; It comprises of Personal Huts, Dormitories ( A/C & Non A/C ), Tent All of these come up with comforters & Mattress, personal Plug points & indeed a good WiFi network. - Play Area: To add on the fun, You'll find Foosball; Indoor Golf Set; Table Tennis; Basket ball; Carrom Board & table games like Chess, Zenga, Uno, Sequence etc - Location: The place is right in mid-way of the Palolem Beach & the Highway hence an easy commute to both of the places. Also, for people looking for peaceful place to stay, it serves your purpose efficiently. - Logistics: The personnel working at the hostel are well aware of the surroundings and can assist you in context of itineraries & logistics to explore around. Note: They also have a community kitchen, which is actually good and has all the necessary equipment to cook. However, needs a bit of improvement. A word of appreciation & gratitude to the following members of The Lost Hostel; Disha, Deep, Kaustav, Deep, Prahlaad, Bhupendra & Special thanks to Chef Satya. PS: Safety & Security in terms of Hygiene is always on the priority of the Hostel Management.…
Good place to stay in palolem, Specially for groups and solo travelers, Location is middle of palolem and patnem, Staff is friendly and approachable, For Leisure kind of holiday the lost hostel is a good and cheaper place, Scope of improvement is there in terms of maintenance of premices, Overall a nice hostel in deep south Goa
I love this place. It is well located in Palolem with a chill and relaxed vibe. The owner, Jitesh, is helpful, welcoming and always has a smile. With a cafe opening soon, it will surely be even more of a local hangout spot. Highly recommend.
Has the basics for what you need during a short stay. Staff are diligent and so kind. I didn’t experience the true atmosphere of the hostel in a traveller sense so I cannot comment on that (I’ve heard in normal circumstances it’s great!!); I was caught during the coronavirus lockdown so the vibe was a little different in that it felt like a share house in the nearly 4 months I was stranded. Bring mosquito repellent. Owner has lots of cool hostel games which brought a lot of fun for all.
