We were so Pleased to stumble across Palolem Guest House. The staff were amazing and did everything they could to help. All the staff were friendly particularly Alfrida. The bed was very comfortable, the rooms were quiet with constant hot water. Rooms were cleaned daily by a lovely lady. Thank you. We will be back .
Our room was dirty, moist and moulded, and the staff in the reception did not take me and my friend serious. We tried to explain our concerns but then the staff called the manager. The manager began to shout at my friend and accused her for trying to "fool him". It´s the absolute worst service I have ever met during my 6 months of travelling in Asia. Will recommend every one to spend their money on another hotel/guest house.
I visited the guest house with some of my friends. We had to upgrade one room because the one we got was wet (the bed), dirty and moldy. They did not have the same standard room available to offer us, therefore they had to give us an upgrade. At check-out, they expected us to pay 8000 rupees for the upgrade. We did not think this was fair so we wanted to discuss the situation with the receptionist. He acted very impolite and disrespectful. He laughed at us and said he would call the police on us if we did not pay immediately. We also talked with the manager on the phone, he was also rude and disrespectful. The guest house might be a nice place to stay at if there are no challenges or disagreements, however our experience was not good because they handled the dirty room and upgrade situation really unprofessional.…
its one of the best place in south goa to stay incase you wanna be close to beach but not on the beach literally . beaches are walking distance and place has a small cute restuatant of its own and a small garden too .
