Attending the Yoga Teacher Training from Earth Yoga village was such a great thing that even now I still can not describe it in words and I am forever thankful to all the inspiring people I met there. The training was exactly how I was imagining it. Because there are Indian and western teachers you get the full experience of yoga, learn about the culture and traditions and also the modern aspects and how to bring the teaching into the western world. The philosophy classes were mind blowing and every day I felt like getting to know myself better and loving myself and all around more and more. We are all one! The food is cooked by Indian women and they really know what they do, I had to be careful not to overeat 😅.
I came to Earth Yoga Village with my boyfriend for a month long conscious living programme. We both absolutely loved it. We stayed in the mixed dorm which was nice and simple and we participated in all the classes and extra programmes. We feel like it was a beautiful experience and good value for money. In a way we feel like it totally changed our lives (: the yoga teachers were all absolutely amazing, the food cooked by the local hardworking staff was absolutely delicious and I feel like it set us in a very good life routine. Thank you so much for everything!
Earth Yoga Village really is a wonderful, enlightening, inspiring, special place. The whole village is beautifully decorated, the yoga shalas are just simply stunning, the food is fantastic, the staff is great and helpful. The teacher training was amazing - we had two incredible teachers, who really made the training as special as it could be. We learned so much, the lessons were well planned and taught, I felt like I was in good hands and feel prepared to teach now after finishing. The only thing is, that we were 29 people in our training - that is far too many. They never had that many participants and I hope the village will decide to put a maximum number of participants in place. We were just too many to really grow close as a group and sometimes during class we all hoped…
I wanted a meditation and Yoga retreat, after a seven day yoga holiday I came away with so much more. Set amongst a jungle it truly is utopia, as you arrive you will feel the energy love and harmony of the village and all who stay. It has an array of courses (teacher trainings, conscious living-, vegan cooking- and yoga vacation retreats), The Teachers are so passionate, knowledgable and gave so much more of themselves to ensure that they met everyone's expectations, the classes were perfect for all levels. The Vegan food was scrumptious and plentiful and the continuous supply of hot teas and bananas were much appreciated. I booked for the mixed dorm and as the place was so busy they upgraded me free of charge to a very comfy Cabana following day I was in a dorm room which was…
I left the village about a month ago, and it has taken me this long to put my experience into words and truly comprehend my time there. It is almost impossible to put my feelings for this place into a review. The best thing you could ever possibly do is experience it yourself. This place is pure magic. This village itself is like nowhere I have ever been before, situated at the far end of palolem beach, close enough to the restaurants and shops but far enough away to escape it all. It's a two minute walk to the sea, you couldn't ask for more. The people are incredible, if you are looking for a sense of community, in an environment surrounded by loving, like minded people, then this the place. You will also be lucky enough to spend time with the people that run the village,…
