Excellent location, right on the beach, very courteous staff. I stayed at the beach cottage “Rosy Slow” and the view from the cottage was lovely. Their restaurant is one of the best on Ashvem beach as it has a ground floor and a first floor too. You can just sit on the first floor and relax for many hours.
They might want to improve on the services within the room as they don’t have some basic things like - bathroom slippers, coasters, dental kit and even for water you have to go to the water filling station outside your room. They charge exorbitantly, equivalent to 5 star hotels but these basic things are not present in the room. You may also find cockroaches often within your room. We had a frog in our bathroom too who lived inside the planter kept in the bathroom!

Love love love the interior decor! The landscape is lovely. Service is wonderful. House keeping is top notch, as is room service.
WC in the toilet is too small - the opening should be larger. The health faucet (mini shower next to WC) has very poor water pressure. The tap in the shower area also has poor water pressure.
The restaurant is well located. The chef Rajesh is a really fine human being, besides being a great cook! The boys who work there are most friendly, and effective

We had a wonderfull time at Palma beach resort. The owners are very friendly, open, flexible and hospitable. They create a very nice and relaxing atmosphere, with live music, good food in an comfortable environment. The people working at the reception, housekeeping, spa and on the beach were all friendly and professional. This new resort is well decorated, the rooms are clean and are equiped with all the required facilities It’s a small paradise in Goa! M&J, NL.

We recently stayed at Palm Grove Beach Resort in Goa, booking the Sun and Light garden-facing villa, expecting a premium experience given the price. Unfortunately, our stay was extremely disappointing.
Upon arrival, we initially found two toads in our room. We removed them ourselves and put them in the garden, assuming it was a one-time occurrence. However, we kept finding toads everywhere—in the shower, inside our bags, and even in the plant pots. When we reported this to the staff, they completely ignored us. They didn’t even acknowledge our complaint, let alone attempt to resolve the issue.
The service was globally mediocre. Someone (cleaners?) had left the remains of their meal (a paratha) on a table outside our villa, and it sat there untouched until we asked the staff to take it away.
The food at the resort was so bad that we ate all our meals elsewhere. We highly recommend Ashwe 351 instead—great food, excellent service, and a much better atmosphere.
As for the sunbeds, they were always covered in sand and never cleaned. We ended up going next door to Pagan’s Café, where the seating was actually maintained.
For the price Palm Grove charges, the lack of service, cleanliness, and attention to guest comfort is unacceptable. We would absolutely not recommend this place to others looking for a quality stay on Ashwem beach. There are much nicer options elsewhere.

Palm Grove is absolutely gorgeous, this hidden gem is done so so well, it puts in in a state of mind which is meditative. The earthy colours and plants all around you transport you to a mini island resort . The proprty is right on one of north Goa's cleanest beaches, their service staff are super warm and the food is great.

Waited 50 minutes for my pomfret fish to arrive and the fish was NOT AT ALL TO THE PAR. Ordered honey chilli potato and got max 6 pieces of potato wedges in it which cost 550₹ and instead of honey they put soya sauce on it which makes no sense. To order the beer I had to go the counter which thankfully was delivered on time. I used to like Palm grove how it was before Covid, the quality and standard of service has dropped down. The only good part about it now is that they have parking everything is absolutely basic for the price point.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The compound was green, clean, and its staff very friendly and professional. Photos online are like what it is like. Clean beach and direct access to the ocean. Water pressure was good, food was great, vibe in the restaurant was very nice too. So, all we hoped for.
There were two annoyances that we can't blame Palm Grove for, hence the 5 star review but we wanted to mention it anyway. First, the nearby Ukiyo is a loud music establishment and you can hear the music from your room. It's inexplicable why a place like that should be established on the same stretch as Palm Grove and places like Silent Beach because it's everything but silent and an unfortunate urban planning decision. Secondly, there was a festival on the beach, a few hundred meters down from the resort. In the morning you would not believe the mess that was left behind. Litter, plastic, human feces, empty bottles, food leftovers and everything disgusting one might imagine. We ended up cleaning a stretch of it to prevent everything from ending up in the ocean but the local community must come together and arrange thorough event management when organizing them. It's show the very worst of sides of India they way it is currently done. These experiences cannot be pinned on Palm Grove but it is a call-out for them and others to organize themselves with other resorts as well as with commercial and religious places and local communities. To keep the place interesting to return, it has to be kept in pristine shape.

Dear MPLE01, First of all, thank you for your kind review on our resort. More importantly for us - in order to keep our resort a place were guests like yourself want to revisit - we definitely understand and share your topics on noice solution and garbage waste on our beach. Regarding the noice polution. Believe us - we are doing our best to make it change. Regarding the garbage on the beaches and roads. The fact that we set our goals of cleanliness high and put out and empty our waist baskets besides our beach beds is not making a huge difference outside our area. We are doing what we can and starting next weekend we will attend an voluntary Clean Ashvem Beach event. All the hoteliers and beach shacks at Ashvem are invited to help pick up the garbage. We hope that the event is successful so that it can be a returning event. Garbage and waist is a very hot topic that is deep rooted in how people look at garbage waist and whos responsibility it is to take care of our waist. To be continued. We take this very serious. Because we depend on beautiful surroundings in order to share our vision and mission with our resort. Thanks again for your review and we do hope to welcome you back again. Kindest regards, Mahesh Guest relations manager

The grounds are lush, verdant are absolutely stunning and the cottages are exceptionally beautiful and very comfortable with soft floors and nice design touches, great showers and heavenly beds. Verandahs have comfortable seating and a swing chair, as well as a ceiling fan (genius!). Great food in the restaurant, both Indian and Italian style (something for everyone) well executed, tasty and generous and lovely cocktails. It would have been nice if the head chef had met customers as we could have thanked him and his team for looking after us. Breakfast was buffet-style with local specialties, cereal, yoghurt etc. and eggs cooked to order (and to perfection). You need to put your hand up if you want coffee as staff are not over-attentive. Reception team were very helpful and friendly and booked taxis for us etc. Cleaning staff did a phenomenal job the rooms were kept spotless. We did have an issue with being hassled by vendors every time we went on the beach and that was tiresome and off putting for some in our group. Location wise, there are a few other restaurants around, ATM and pharmacy are a taxi ride away, advice is to get a scooter for those little trips as works out cheaper (£4 per day!). Also go into Arambol for shopping and try the restaurants in Mandrem. Would give 6 stars if the restaurant/ bar staff were more attentive although towards the end of the holiday they were much more friendly and attentive so hopefully going forward the experience will be even more sublime. Well done to all, keep it up (Eva especially thanks for looking after us).

This is a beautiful property on a very clean and quiet beach! We liked the design of the rooms, which are very comfortable. Each room has a lovely little patio where you can read and enjoy the sea breeze. The service is great and the beach views are stunning (you barely have to walk 15 steps to be on the sand). The food and drinks were great too but found the breakfast to be hit or miss. We had an odd experience with high tide totally flooding the area with the beach chairs but the hotel staff rearranged the chairs and made it work. I highly recommend staying here and eating at the nearby restaurant Gyatso.
