What a beautiful place set in a lovely village. I stayed in a Superior Room that was so spacious and beautifully decorated. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a separate shower. So well set out. Spotlessly clean too. My evening meal was delicious and tasted so fresh. My breakfast was served in the cafe...

Expected it to be so much better! Sat down on time, good start, ordered drinks and both ordered beef for Sunday lunch. "Oh, we've run out, you should have been told"! How can you run out of beef at Sunday lunchtime, especially when you charge £13.50 a plate for it???? Hohum. Actually felt like leaving, but ordered starter and the...

The Nevill arms is set within the very pretty Leicestershire village of Medbourne. It has a lovely and lively bar area that offers the usual range of tipples including a couple of decent real ales. We went through and ate in the restaurant which is well laid out and a nice place for couples or small groups. The menu offers...

My wife booked an overnight stay at this establishment as a treat (well we all deserve a treat now and again) having researched similar local establishments on TripAdvisor. We arrived after our allotted 'booking in' time, parked up in the car park opposite and made our way into this very old, but well presented building. Upon entry to the public...

visited here on the off chance for Sunday Lunch. Lovely village pub with Sat in the bar next to open fire. Lunch fantastic. I had the pork, partner had the lamb, shared a starter and cheese dessert. Everything homemade.Def would eat here again if near by.

Beautiful location and lovely restaurant but looks can be deceiving. My parents booked here to celebrate their special occasion. It had been booked for at least 3-4 weeks. It felt as if we were an inconvenience to them. Table of eleven tucked away in the corner, which I don't have a problem with, but we were the only dinner in...

We eaten at this establishment many times and have never been disappointed. This is how a country pub should be run. The bar is warm and welcoming with good staff and excellent beer. The food is of a consistently high standard with the usual favourites and interesting options. This place is definitely worth a visit.

The appeal of any country inn or pub is bound to vary according to the seasons. What may be attractive on a warm summers day may lose its charm in the depths of winter. The Nevill Arms however seems to have enough going for it in all seasons. It is an attractive looking building with a cosy interior olde world...

I have stayed a few times when away on Business but will be bring the family back. The rooms are extremely well finished and the homemade biscuits left in the room are eaten before I take my jacket off. The bar has a lovely atmosphere and has a great range of traditional beers to choose from. Food is exceptional. Cold...
