Booked through 5pm.co.uk two nights Bed and Breakfast deal. The room was very nice (King Room), although the bed was not comfortable. The bathroom of the room next door had been made by taking a footprint out of the room we occupied. There was no soundproofing, the fan when left on made a loud humming noise and we could hear...

Stayed with my partner for our anniversary. We opted for dinner and breakfast with one nights stay in a double room. We arrived later in the evening after a long drive from the east coast to be warmly welcomed and greeted by friendly staff (and two very cute collies) Our room was just the average entry room but for £95...

This place is beautiful with a lovely setting along the coast. The room was well appointed and very comfortable. The staff is very attentive and helpful. And that restaurant!! Amazing food. I never ate so much in my life, but I couldn't resist experiencing as much of that menu as possible. Absolutely delicious!

Booked the Master Room for one night dinner, bed and breakfast for my boyfriend and our two dogs. It was more expensive than what we would usually pay but we thought we would treat ourselves. The staff were pleasant and our room was clean, comfortable but a little small for being called a Master. Dinner was lovely however we ordered...

This lovely building has lots of character. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The evening meal was excellent and beautifully presented. The breakfast however was less than perfect, sadly. The room we occupied was a master room facing onto the loch, with four poster bed and good sized bathroom. However on the down side we felt that housekeeping could...

Spent 1 evening on dinner bed and breakfast rate and was blown away by the experience. We arrived at lunchtime and we were given accurate information on local walks by the girl on reception. We walked approx 9 miles (there are other, shorter walks) witnessing spectacular views along the peninsula. On our return we were served hot scones with clotted...

My partner and I have just enjoyed a fabulous 3 night stay at the wonderful Knockderry House Hotel on the eastern shore of Loch Long. This long awaited visit following several months of illness and was just the tonic for what we needed at the end of a tough year. It certainly didn't disappoint. From the moment we arrived to...

Just spent the night at Knockderry with a friend. I can honestly hand on heart say it was in my top three of the best Hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were exemplary, we are very inquisitive and they answered all of our questions without exception. (These were questions including history of the hotel and surrounding area and the...

We stayed overnight here to celebrate my Fiance's birthday. We stayed in Room 1 which had a four poster bed and a view of the Loch. From our arrival to checking out the next day we were delighted with everything - the room and the view were both fantastic, the food was delicious and very well presented and the staff...

Wanting an overnight stay to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary, out of the ten hotels we had selected, we opted for Knockderry because of the very good reviews. It surpassed our expectations. We had chosen Room 5 as we had been informed it had contempory furnishing . It was very comfortable despite the odd shaped shower. It has, however, no...
