We stayed at Kosi Bay Lodge over Christmas and New Years 2016 and we had the most amazing time. Our units were very well equip with everything you need and we spent many hours around our private boma on the deck. The lodge itself is very well run and the service is great and personal. Neels and Karin make sure...

We were kind of stuck for somewhere to eat. This was the only optional and we were the only customers. Oh well, dive in. Food was not bad, but very slowly delivered. Servers were very friendly, all 4 of them that randomly appeared. The lodge has an attractive setting, but is not near anything. Tours sprout from here, so its...

If you like nature, this is IN nature. With a lovely splash pool cooling you of from the high humid air on a wooden deck outside, under a huge tree with a cool refresher in your hand, absolute perfect. Little geckos at nights on the outside of the windows catching the light seeking insects is nice to see. Brilliant! but...

We stayed in one of the new chalets with a cabin per couple and our private splash pool. The accommodation was lovely and the self catering kitchen was well equipped. The lodge struggled with power and so we had a few sleepless nights in the heat and humidity. Some of our food went off because the fridge didn't get cold...

We stayed in Unit 13 this time and it was amazing in terms of layout, outside kitchen, boma area etc. staff are very friendly. Units are services daily. Service in the restaurant was...

Hi Diane Thanks for the review. The trips work out less when you are more than two. A six hours trip on the lakes and boat and a drop off at the beach with a skipper/guide with you at R500 pp when you are only two is not costly. The petrol for the day is R600 then the guide plus...

Chalets situated among indigenous trees with boardwalks to each lodge which is very are very private. There are a variety of chalets and lodges available and some of them are super luxurious with own pools and large decks (with inter leading smaller but separate chalets) if you have a larger family. Superb setting for peace and quiet or for exploring...

Reasonable place to stay . Undergoing upgrades and renovations. Water activity limited due to vessels OOA. No beach and a walk to the lake. Unfortunately only the KZN parks board has some camping on the water. Roads in a shocker if you don't have a LDV or 4x4.
