A very nice, secluded, off-road resort with a superb view. All rooms are perched on a earthen dam facing the water body. View from room and dining area are awesome. Food was also very nice along with the service and hospitality. We had been for a lunch but would definitely love to stay at this place in future.
I visited sorry not visited this place I experienced this holy place for nature.. and the guy who accompanied was so enthu and brushed in his field. I am greatful that CV was with us so our children, I recommend this place for birdwatchers & people who are interested in grass lands and other wilderness.. (no words guys) waiting for winters🥶
A hidden gem in midst of a beautiful lake with the flora and fauna leaving you at elevated levels of calmness. Wake up to the unedning variety of chirping birds and whistling winds accompanied by the beauty of the lake and greens all around you. Beautifully done up tents, scrumptious fresh organic food and a supremely warm and welcoming team lead by Nanda Ji. Special mention for Shlok at front desk and Tarun at the restaurant. Words wont do justice to the captivating beauty of this property. Will definitely visit again.
8 of us checked into this luxury tented hotel run by Raas Group. our first visit and it exceeded expectations we loved the whole ambience, we did a sunset bird watching boat ride and enjoyed great food and service the staff looked after us very well and were very responsive and helpful all the time
Truly memorable are the sunrise sunset and star gazing in the night, what clear sky and great views of the man made lake. If you are in for nature then it is a must visit place, the tents are ultra modern and have all facilities, stay is comfortable and very good service.Mr. Chandra Shekhar, Mr. Aziz, Mr. Chandal and Mr. Shlok form a great Team. Chef Vicky curated really nice dishes with local ingredients, do try the salads and the Pizza. I would like to especially mention Ms.Shinnu the house keeper who would figure out our needs inspite of her veil and help with an ever smiling face. Last but not the least Mr. Babu Khan who brought hot water bottles so late in the night it was really touching.
The hotel is a scam, can visit better properties for a cheaper rate. The resort does not offer hospitality, they provide no room service. The hotel offers no luxury experience as expected from the chain. Cannot recommend this property from my end
This place is mesmerizing...one is awed at its beauty. We spent only 1 night but soaked up whatever we could. The tents are comfortable in every way , the skylight is the highlight...the view to the lake is out of this world. Fabulous food, personalized service, great experiences like boating, safari, walks , sundowners and the organic garden add up to it. Overall a wonderful experience to be cherished for a lifetime. Thank you Raas Chhatrasagar!
This place really surprised us We could only managed 2 nights here but now we feel is very short. We just wanted a relaxed gateway and this was just perfect Superb tents with birds embroidered inside with all the amenities we could think of and the lake view from the tent is breathtaking No noise & no noise at all, which makes this place so peaceful even we were asked by the entrance gate keeper not to blow the horns too The temperature controlled swimming pool was the cherry on the cake. As vegetarians I was a bit skeptical about our "demands 😊" but Chef Anand really took care of these well Food here is delicious, can't believe a sumptuous thin crust pizza in a remotely located camp like this. The vegetable garden is really a place to spend time in I could even see some of the flowers used in our salads near our rooms too few names to mention Taryn / Jagat / Anand . Don't remember the name of the manager though he was very helpful …
This is the place to go to really relax and unwind. Fabulous property, service, good, and surroundings. Take a book, nap, go for walks, safaris, amazing birding. And the staff will do everything to make you comfortable. Last but not least the skylight in the room above your bed on a starry night...
the old ChhatraSagar was a very simple tented camp built on top of a small earthen dam creating a lake which attracted a great variety of birds. The tents have recently been "upgraded" and are much more luxurious than the last tents. The best part of the new Chhatra Sagar is the staff they are attentive, professional and really look after their guests. In particular Shlok the front office and Tarun who runs the restaurant are outstanding. There is a heated pool and the tents are air-conditioned so it is now a year round destination. The organic vegetable garden is worth a visit and the salads are excellent.
