A great place for a 3 day 2 night break from your daily life. It's like spending 2-3 days in the lap of the nature and enjoying host of adventurous activities in case you want to or you may simply enjoy the beauty of the nature. No TV and Newspapers at the site cause, As the name suggest, it's kind of a camp so do not expect luxury there. It is located 40 kms from Solan (104 kms from Chandigarh) on Rajgah Road. They have 12 log huts with attached washrooms. The Huts are clean and have all the basic facilities. If you want to be more adventurous you can opt for Tent also. However the Tent have common shared washrooms facilities.

After reaching Rajgarh bus station you have to drive down 3-4 kms more towards Giri Riverbed, where you park your car on the road side, there you will find a helper from the Camp site to take care of your luggage and then you have to walk 300 mtr downhill on steep raw path and finally have to cross the Giri river stream bare footed to reach to the site. (Caution: not good trek for aged people or persons with walking disability).

Once you reach, you find yourself close to nature. You can relax at the camp or put your feet in the Giri River Stream and enjoy it's beauty or get involved in adventurous activities like Burma Bride, River Crossing, Rock Climbing, Rappelling, Fox Fly, Commando Net etc. , which are done under the supervision of experts with all the safety precautions and in the evening one can enjoy the Bonfire over music. The food available there is very basic like home cooked food, served in a bamboo Dining Hall. All your meals are covered in the trip.

A piece of advise is to carry your own beer and/or liquor and munching stuff with you as going to market place is not feasible from the site. Also carry your trekking shoes, first-aid medicines and or stuff you would be needing to buy from the market in case of need.

In overall rating I would say it is a wonderful place to go on a short break from your busy life and you will not regret the decision. I will definitely recommend it to anyone who loves to be with the nature.

Nice place to go for a small week end, do not expect luxury its a descent place cool and calm away from city hassle and pollution, Only 2 points which should be taken care of one is that you an not travel with elderly people because approach from parking to resort gate is extremely adventurous first you have to track down all the way from parking to below through a very narrow raw path once you get down after reaching near to resort two options are available to enter in one is either to cross river which always have knee level water with good current of water flow second by walking across rope bridge (not advisable), so kids and elderly people must consider this before going there they should have one solid bridge, but once you enter you can relax. staff is very co operative they will do what ever s possible from limited available resources.
It is advisable to carry ready to use food stuff of your choice it may be noodles ( if kids are with you) biscuits, snacks teabags, dry milk powder etc. etc. along with electric kettle . because there is no shop in at least 10 km radius.

We went there in a group of 3. We had randomly selected this place looking at the reviews atTripAdvisor, so were not expecting much from the place. But trust me, i have never been to a better place on a holiday! Just go to this place, switch off your phones and enjoy the beauty around. Since its not commercialised the beauty is still untouched. Delicious home cooked food. And There is this guy named Bahadur whose hospitality is so amazing that you wont even get to know you are at some new place. Its advisable to take your own car along cz there is no direct bus or train to this village.
If u haven't been here yet, you are missing on something in life!

The good:
- Flowing stream of water very close by. Good enough to take a dip. Goes far beyond those expensive spa treatements, at least for me. However if you are too finicky you may only get some infection from the algae ;)
- Absolutely peaceful! No commercial activity around. The valley resort is surrounded by a protected forest.
- Peach farms: Although you are better off not plucking from other's farms, in case you do you'll love it :) pluck them fresh, wash them in the stream close by and enjoy them while your feet are dipped in the cold water. I'd suggest that you ask the farm worker/owner before plucking. Works better this way!
- Nice cottages: spacious, reasonably clean as these are newly built.
- Treks: We did one to a temple on the nearby peak. 20 mins trek doable by most. Good fun. You can explore further.
- Other activities: River crossing, rapling etc. by a very cooperative staff.
- Lots of green open area in the resort: you can sit out under a Machan, stroll around the area and have a good relaxing time.
- The roads are mostly good.

The bad:
- Food: very basic. Very substandard given the tariff. Repulsive crockery. No proper dining area. Just an open shed with flies all around and on the food. Food is too oily at times, menu extremely limited and basic, mostly veg. By far the most disappointing aspect of the resort. Service is very slow. However, if the ingredients are there the cook shall try and prepare things on request. Just like a home kitchen. Barring a few occasions the taste of the food was good.
- House keeping: Almost absent. Need to run around to get your room cleaned.
- The fly problem: Too many in the room. You just cannot have an uninterrupted sleep.

All in all, if your are a nature lover and aren't too finicky you'll have a truly relaxing experience. The tariff however is overpriced!

Went to the Camp for the birthday celebration of my daughter Harsheen. We were 25 people and stayed in camps along small river. There was bonfire, adventure activities, trekking, etc. Food was lavish compared to the area and camp. The water stream freshened our mind. There are cottages for stay as well besides the tent for more systematic stay. Camp owner provided excellent facilities. Morning trek was a great and unforgettable experience.

I want to highlight this scenario Which happened with us, We as a team arrived in Peach valley after reading some good reviews from travelers. It was the evening time when we arrived there and had brought some raw mutton with us as the camp owner said that they don't serve Mutton .

Later when food was ready we asked for mutton which we brought around 3 KGS to serve, what we found was they serve only seven to eight pieces and told that mutton is over now and after some arguement they started fighting with us and cook even thrased one of our team mate which was a horrible experience, later that night one of their employ informed us that they served our brought mutton to some other guest in order to make money (around 500 rupees per plate) .
