WOW this place is a bucket list place to stay. I went with my husband for my 50th birthday. The staff sang happy birthday to me and gave me a little cake. What an opportunity to spend so much time with the giraffes and get lots of photos with them. Staff were exceptional. Food was so good. We stayed in Kelly's Room and got to feed the giraffes from our room. Higjhly recommend.
Our stay at Giraffe Manor was a dream come true! Our expectations of the Manor were pretty high, and I have to say, everything about our stay far exceeded all of our expectations. The Manor is so beautiful and so charming. We loved all of the giraffe art and decor that adorned the manor, the rooms and the gardens. All of our meals were fantastic! The food was really, really good! And the wine was good too. From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, the service was excellent. The staff was so kind and helpful. They did everything they could to make you feel special. And of course, feeding the giraffes was amazing! During high tea, from a swing, from your room or balcony, during breakfast! It was incredible, truly incredible. Here is my advices. Go to Giraffe Manor! It's a magical place and is worth every penny you will spend to stay there. Try to stay in the original Manor and enjoy your breakfast feeding the giraffes from their special breakfast room. You only need to stay one night. Don't make any other plans during your stay. Just relax and enjoy the giraffes and the manor. …
We had the opportunity to spend 2 wonderful nights at Giraffe Manor in October at the tail end of our honeymoon trip to Africa. WOW!! Giraffe Manor is a bucket list experience in the midst of our entire bucket list honeymoon trip!! The experience is even more amazing than the pictures make it look. It was definitely worth spending the 2nd night, although most people stay for just one night. It was a totally different experience with the giraffes on Day Two. The staff was great - professional, looked out for us, and were on top of everything. A special heartfelt call-out to Eunice, who was our butler on our 2nd night. She was AMAZING. She had an eagle eye for the best pictures for us. She was right on top of bringing us more giraffe food when we needed it. She was truly amazing. As great as the giraffes where (and they were amazing) and as great as the staff is (and they were also amazing), the true mark of excellence is how management responses when there is a problem. This is where Giraffe Manor went above and beyond. We had booked the Daisy room for our 2 nights, but had a tough first night sleeping. It was too hot, and the air was completely still. We barely slept. When we mentioned that it was hot, Edgar, the manager, sprang into action. They not only arranged for a life-saving fan to be added to our room, Edgar managed to move us to another, cooler room, the Karen Brixton suite. It was AMAZING. Edgar, you truly made our stay at Giraffe Manor even more memorable!! Thank you —Stephany and Brent Beardsley…
This is without a doubt an experience of a lifetime. Of course the giraffes are the star of the show, and there is plenty of feeding and photograph opportunities. We were in the Jock room at the front of the house and could hear the giraffes mooching about before dawn, waiting for the bowl of pellets in your room. There's nothing like being woken up by a hungry giraffe! The rooms are lovely, authentic 1930s style. The food is amazing, I had the best beef Wellington I've ever had. We couldn't manage afternoon tea after the sumptuous lunch which was a shame, but there were giraffes to feed! Finally the amazing staff qho make you so welcome, it's like visiting friends in their home. It's expensive, yes, but worth every penny.
The manor was beautiful and the decor fit the property. Staff and service was outstanding in every way. I smiled for 2 days while we were there. Seeing the giraffes up front and real was a beautiful moment. Service and food was excellent. I would highly recommend this property. 5 star all the way!
Awesome and totally unmissable!! A wonderful experience actually better than anticipated. Standing on your balcony feeding four Giraffes and interacting with other delighted guests is unmatched, and we have travelled extensively. Recommended to everyone, in spite of the cost!!
Warning! If you can't make it you lose your £1000 deposit or given a future date to stay but charged double the original rates. This is despite over 3 months of correspondence prior to the proposed date if stay. Very disappointing and frustrating
Life changing experience! William was our butler and he went above and with every request! Staff was so kind and showered me and my friends with so much love. Giraffe’s Manor truly represented Nairobi, Kenya Africa with style and grace!
What an amazing experience, not only do you get to meet and feed the giraffes you get to do it in such an amazing place. Fabulous facilities, Staff that just wanted to please from the minibus driver to the management everyone was brilliant.
We loved our two nights at Giraffe Manor! Yes, the price is scary, but so worth this once in a lifetime experience. We added two nights at Sala’s Camp in order to stay here as the Manor House rooms, open for general public reservations, were fully booked. Sala's Camp turned out to be a fantastic add on! Vincent did a super job of getting us lots of giraffe time, photos and videos! If you want something, just ask, all the staff are very helpful and want you to have the best experience. Don’t worry if the giraffes do not have access to your room. We had Salma Room with no giraffe access to our balcony and that did not matter one bit as there is no shortage of giraffe time. Our room was lovely, the common areas were cosy and the food was beautifully presented and very tasty. Make sure you visit the gift shop which has lots of gift ideas and souvenirs in a wide range of prices. If you do get stuck and there is ‘no room at the inn’ get your giraffe time at the Giraffe Centre next door where you may feed, watch and touch these beautiful creatures—it isn't the same as staying at the Manor, but at least you get some giraffe contact!…
