We enjoyed our trip to this hotel in the summer. We found the rooms and public areas to be clean and tidy. I did notice some things which could’ve been improved on, such as fingerprints everywhere over the lift doors and also toilets at swimming pool area could have been cleaned much more regularly. Staff were efficient and polite. Always a large selection of food at every meal time. We found drinks to be ok although can upgrade to a premium all inclusive at a cost. Close to a rocky beach and also well located for any day trips to the waterpark. We walked to the waterpark in 15mins but can also get a quick taxi. Can get a taxi to town centre or walk as well. We had booked a room with full sea view and the view was perfect. We would recommend this as feel we wouldn’t want to be without a view. We did have a couple of issues during our stay which was our room was an adjoining room to someone else’s, we asked to be moved immediately and was told it was not possible so I didn’t particularly like this at all. One day we came back and our suitcase which was blocking the adjoining door had moved so we knew it must have been opened from the other side. Whether this was housekeeping or another guest I do not know but it made me uneasy. We also had issues with our aircon which did get resolved after a few hours as it was so hot. Overall we would return but dependent on price. The pool areas and entertainment are good but could be better. It is most definitely a nice hotel in a nice resort though.

Returned home on the 29th after a glorious 7 days at Cypria Bay. It was our 3rd time here and enjoyed every minute. FOOD- plenty choice at every meal and something to suit all diets, we liked the snack bar at the pool at lunchtime as we only like something light then. Evening meal can be a bit repetitive but always got something. ROOM-we were in 1164 and it was kept spotless the whole week and clean towels daily, cleaner was lovely and always smiling. BARS- pool bar were fine, lobby bar staff had 2 lovely barmaids, Katrina and Christina, I think are the names were always happy and bubbly but our favourite barman is Isko. Great barman who had peoples drinks ready before they got to the bar, knows his job and would start serving a second person as he was finishing your order to keep the queue down and the whole time having a conversation with you, well done Isko. RECEPTION- staff on arrival were lovely and George was taken with my Scottish accent and kept me talking to hear me, full of laughs but got us checked in quickly. Told them we had ants in our room and by the time we went to the bar and had a drink it had been dealt with and never saw another one, good job. POOL AREA- Plenty sunbeds, place kept spotless clean towels when you need them what more can you ask for, no complaints here. STAFF-Can say all staff we had the pleasure to deal with were nothing more than polite, courteous and very cheery, will definitely be back next year.

Currently still here having an amazing time. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they go above and beyond EVERY time, one of the many reasons we continue to return to this hotel. The hotel is spotless, the view from our room as you can see from the picture below is stunning. As returning guests we have been so well looked after by everyone but especially Nektaria, Iavocos (Jack) and Yanni, very special people. Yesterday there were traditional Cypriot dancers in the day, we watched and participated with them, brilliant. Every year we come back, renovations have been completed on the hotel, where we think it cannot improve, they do something to make it just that little bit better and a fantastic holiday once again.

Good points: Upon arrival the hotel appears lovely. The lobby is clean and modern with beautiful views over the pool area and sea. I stayed in room 1108 which was a family room with great side-sea-views. The beds are clean and comfortable, there are plenty of fresh towels and soaps to use. The pool area I lovely as is the grass verges where the majority of sun loungers are overlooking the sea. The restaurant is clean and neatly laid out and there is an acceptable choice of food. The local branded standard drinks (beer/wine/spirits) are all good. Not so good points: The standard of room cleaning by the cleaners during your stay is NOT acceptable. Not once did they change the bedding or clean the bathroom. Their daily routine included sweeping the balcony and replacing your towels and new toilet rolls. Oh, and leaving the door to the balcony unlocked every single day! The food is acceptable. There is a small choice available but it never seems to be entirely fresh or piping hot. The small selection of salads were nice though. It’s certainly not the standard and choice of food I would expect to see in a large 4* resort. There are some very miserable and rude staff on the pool bar (they are not local Cypriots). You would queue for a drink and when it came to your turn to order they would pull out their mobile phones and walk away, leaving you waiting for a minute. I was not informed upon booking with my agent that you are only on the basic all inclusive package. If you want bottled drinks, cocktails and branded spirits then you would need to upgrade to the platinum all inclusive package. I didn’t upgrade and didn’t see anyone else wearing a gold band either. The local branded standard beers, wines and spirits are all fine. There are great views and it’s a great location for access to the harbour. Would I stay here again? Yes I would, but it certainly wouldn’t be my first choice of hotels as there are so many better ones in that area, having stayed in many of them over the years.

Can I just say what an amazing bunch of people who work at cypria bay! Hats off to all the staff who made us feel welcome and go beyond to help us especially when I forgot my reading glasses (Tiana that’s you)! Also wanted to say Bianca from guest relations was awesome and adores my baby for cuddles! Rooms were clean and pool side view was amazing.

Absolutely Great Hotel. Always clean and spacious rooms. Very comfy beds, with crisp white cotton linen. I have sciatica and it can be a big concern and worry if the quality of the mattress is going to be ok. As my holiday can be ruined by poor quality beds. I request a step into shower because of my mobility needs and this has always been available. I have never seen any mould in the bathrooms. And the towels and toiletries have been checked and replaced frequently. The rooms have always been very clean and well maintained. Light and spacious. A hairdryer is supplied and there is a fridge and kettle in the room. Dining The food is Fabulous and varied for various dietary needs. Vegan, vegetarian. As others have commented Speak to someone and the staff will do there very best to help. There are alternative milks available and fresh made to order omelettes, pancakes and Iced coffees galore. Porridge, yogurts, fruit, cereal, eggs, scrambled poached fried. Seriously so much choice. Lunch times and evenings there is a wide choice from fresh made pizza, vegetarian, various options of salads and a variety of meal options, so many to list, much more. The dining room staff are amazing, friendly, polite and kind. It’s always clean and the staff are always on hand to help if it’s needed. I have always found there are enough sun beds and have never had an issue finding one vacant. They are always clean and the outdoor areas are kept clean there are numerous bins for recycling cups etc The hotel is set overlooking the sea with a mostly flat walk into Paphos. There are some historical sites fairly close by. And the bus depot if you want to venture a little further to maybe the Tomb of the kings. The staff at this hotel are amazing. They are kind, thoughtful and friendly. From my very first visit here some years ago they have always been helpful and considerate, and polite.

The hotel is lovely and clean, very modern, great location on the Broadwalk, allowing a level walk to Paphos. For us the best thing here is Christiana who looks after the restaurant. She is amazing, friendly, kind, incredibly helpful, nothing is too much trouble. A complete credit to the hotel. If we had our way she would be promoted. No one else has come close to her. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We would definetely come back to Cyprus. The food and weather are all fantastic!!

We are currently at the hotel on our last day of 10 that we have spent at this hotel. Dissapointed is an understatement especially for the money it cost for this hotel. Food The food was poor, several times we had selected fish which was raw, bread was stale that was put of for breakfast. Breakfast was the same every morning however the crepes and iced coffees were good. The food was hardly ever hot and was either lukewarm or cold. It was also repetitive with majority of the left over dinner being served the following day for lunch. However if a diet of pizza, chips and chicken nuggets is part of your steeple diet, then the hotel food is for you. Staff The male bar staff at the pool bar were great, always happy to help and 9 x out of 10 with a smile, however there is a blonde female who works at the bar, and it was though it was an inconvenience to her when asking for a drink and her only interest was to be on her mobile. Reception staff are helpful and informative. We didn't overly have a lot of interaction with restraint staff due to it being self service. Animation team the same as above. Pool One good thing about the hotel is there is plenty of sunbeds of a good comfy quality available either by the pool or on the grass area. The pool is a lot smaller than it seems on the photographs, you are not allowed any form of inflatables in the pool unless they are swimming aids for children. The pool is also swiped with children despite there being a separate children's pool. During the 10 days we had only seen one of the pools being clean which is evident when you see the dirt at the bottom of the pool. The pool bar is also a nice touch, but is very very dirty, you can see a skim of grime floating on the top of the pool and doesn't appear to ever be cleaned due to the dirt floating around. The entertainment team daily have aerobics on the pool, what is irritating is the excessively loud musing with the same rubbish songs on repeat daily. Rooms Our room was clean, adequate and the cleaners done a really good job everyday and replenishing towels and keeping the room clean. We had everything we needed as well as sufficient storage. The only niggle was a generator noise could be heard continuously from the room keeping us awake most nights. (This wasn't from the aircon) Local area The harbour is a 40 minuete walk with some lovely views along the way, whilst there you will find some lovely restraints, The Harbour is one we recommend and shockingly was able to get a meal other than pizza and chips

Just returned from a week at the Cypria Bay hotel. We know this area well but as we had family and a toddler with us chose this family hotel for a change. The hotel was clean and well presented and staff were helpful. We had three rooms that were modern compared to some I’ve seen in the website. They must be family rooms as they have two extra single beds in. Ideal for families but if you were there for two weeks in a family room you’d struggle to put your clothes away as a lack of hangers and drawers. That said big double bed very comfy, good air con, tea and coffee making facilities, a safe, a decent cot for our toddler-everything you need. There was a good choice of food in the restaurant, poolside lunchtime cafe and late night snacks in reception bar. Queues were never too bad to get drinks and although they don’t give out water bottles on all inclusive, they would refill your own bottles, which we put in our bedroom fridge. The pool and garden were nice but there was a 6am dash for front row sun beds by the pool. If you don’t mind where you sit there are plenty of beds available in grassed area. The kids club was shut as it’s term time but we took our two year old to the toddler time in the park each morning. Caitlin was fantastic with the little ones and they had fun with glue and paint and made age appropriate crafts. There was a teddy bears picnic one morning with games and songs and lovely fresh snacks. Caitlin’s enthusiasm was fantastic and she’d always stop and chat if you met her around the pool. The mini disco in the evening was also fun for the younger children and we all enjoyed the club song and dance we heard there and around the pool. I’d definitely recommend this hotel for families looking for a fun holiday with plenty of food and drinks and lots going on for the children.
