My wife and I booked Asimina Suites as our first overseas holiday in a while and we were looking forward to the trip based on research and the reviews here too. We arrived quite late on our first evening (Paphos airport is chaos when things go wrong or it gets busy!) and were quickly shown to a suite (we had a 1 bedroom suite booked)...however this was not the "Front Sea View" we had been promised by our travel agents. There being no alternative we stayed in that suite the first night. There was nothing actually wrong with the suite but we felt it was not what we had paid for-so that was initially disappointing. However, following the excellent work of Michael (the night duty manager) and his outstanding colleague who met us the morning after (blonde lady whose name I've sadly forgotten!) we were moved to a room which was the same layout but had a full on sea view after all! A great piece of joined up customer service. Truthfully, after that, things could not have been better. This is a quality resort, focused on couples (no kids were seen anywhere!) and it has some fabulous touches including; -Buffet breakfast and dinner which were outstanding every time -The pool guys making sure we had our chilled towel every day -A complimentary smoothie by the pool every lunch time -Perfectly clean and well equipped rooms -Great recommendations for local restaurants (try the Italian one Cavallino which is a 10 minute walk away) -Nice bars with a wide range of drinks and snacks -Little terraces and seating areas everywhere to take in the views -The availability (for 40 Euros a day) of a private cabana on the beach...we used it twice and it was worth it! -Friendly efficient staff everywhere -Even the little Friday evening "Cyprus night" was very nicely done with lots of humour and engagement So all in all, lots going for it! However there were some things that were a bit different to our expectations...nothing that's a problem, just be aware! -The beach is really pretty narrow and poor quality...nothing they can do about it, but it isn't the highlight we thought it might be. -The beach is described as "private" and it isn't...this was not as I say a problem, but you do have local folks and people from other hotels rocking up and using it...just felt a bit less secure than you'd want! -The hotel is predominantly visited by older couples...we're early 60s and were with only a few exceptions amongst the "younger ones"! -Some of the evening entertainment is quite "naff"! So there you are...this is a high quality place, with excellent people looking after you and they do a great job. It is NOT cheap...but I guess you definitely get what you pay for. Final word...it was my birthday a few days before our trip and a lovely birthday cake appeared in our suite one evening. What a nice touch!

Hotel's Favourite
My wife and I have just returned from a fantastic week staying at the Asimina Suites Hotel, Paphos, Cyprus. The hotel is absolutely worthy of the five stars it has been awarded. The service from the the staff from the moment we arrived until our departure at the end of the week was second to none. The staff go out of their way to ensure that all guests receive an excellent level of service. The rooms were superb and the food was of an extremely high standard. The facilities also lived up to our expectations as advertised on the hotel website.

We wanted to thank you and your staff for a wonderful time. My husband is well travelled and has stayed in many hotels around the world and we can honestly say that your hotel certainly lives up to your 5 star rating. From start to finish, our stay was very comfortable. We arrived in the early hours of Monday the 19th, and the staff sent a bottle of champagne and also some canapes making it a great start. We have room with a sea view. With it being our Honeymoon we wanted a room with space so we could relax and the room was beyond our expectations. It was very spacious and clean. The toiletries, which was replenished each day also made the stay even more special, the little things make the big things. As it was our honeymoon, your staff also arranged a special 3 course meal for us in your sea view restaurant and set out the table beautifully. We certainly did feel special. From the cleaners, the waiting staff and reception, nothing was too much trouble and everyone was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Our return flight was late at night, and the staff also helped by letting us use the room until 7pm which was such a lovely touch. We had the most fabulous time and would recommend Asimina Suites to anyone. Thank you so much.

Holiday 11th Sepetember until 21st September 2022 The Asimina Suites All Inclusive, Indulgent Escapes option in Paphos, Cyprus, offered by Jet2 was the holiday we selected. Our previous visit to this group a couple of years ago was excellent so we opted for the upgrade at Asimina Suites. The arrival at Paphos was as usual fairly haphazard and took an age to get our Private Transfer sorted out. It really needs Jet2 to be better organised so that after a 5 hour flight it shouldn’t be necessary to hang around for 30 mins waiting for a taxi. The Hotel staff were very welcoming and showed us to our suite which was large, comfortable and very posh. They delivered a delightful cold supper to the suite and we were very happy with our first night at Asimina Suites….however! The following morning when we opened the curtains our view, to say the least ,was not impressive at all. The view looking out from the balcony, turned out to be a covered service area and we were directly opposite the end wall of the five floor hotel next door. The sea was just about visible at an angle away to our right looking across the rear of Asimina Suites. At that stage, when the staff enquired if everything was alright, we mentioned the outlook of the suite(No 319) was not what we were expecting after paying approximately five thousand pounds for our holiday. The second and third night we were disturbed by the noise from the other hotel which went on until midnight. The following morning we contacted Jet2 to complain and asked to move to another suite. We also spoke to Hotel Reception and said we were not at all happy with our suite and would they move us to a quieter location. This was completed with minimal fuss by the very helpful Hotel Reception Staff to a quieter suite for which were very grateful. Jet2 should be aware and advise its customers that these sort of suites may be provided and that some problems may be encountered such as noise or a view which may not be the same as the one described in their brochure or on the Hotel web site The staff at Asimina Suites were charming, friendly and helped us enjoy the rest of our holiday especially Marcos and Elena in the Kymata bar and Sara in the Verandah Bar

This is the second time we have visited Asimina Suites, this time we met friends there and had a very relaxing, albeit indulgent much needed 2 weeks holiday. We love everything about this hotel, the quality of food and drinks are what you would expect from a 5 star hotel, all premium and the food in the beachside restaurant is almost Michelin star!! The staff are all amazing, very professional but also feel like friends during your stay. Marios, Janus and the team (not forgetting both George’s) are the best, most welcoming team I have met on any holiday.. it is credit to them that makes this hotel special. The rooms are spacious, clean, the beds are so comfortable and have everything you need, including an iron/board!! There is no need to get up early to grab a sunbed either, there are plenty and guests are all pretty chilled. Because of the hotel’s position it is ideal for early risers to get out for a walk or run along the coast path into Pafos (approx. 3-4 miles there & back). The spa is great too, had a couple of massages, reasonably priced and definitely worth it. We also used the gym and it has everything you need. The only downside is the evenings can be a little too quiet and the bar areas and entertainment need some work. We went out into Pafos on a couple of occasions to relieve the boredom. But this did not spoil our holiday and we will be returning! We can recommend hiring a car through the hotel too if you want to get out into the mountains for a day, very good rates and reliable. Overall we cannot fault this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful & relaxing break. We went All Inclusive which we feel is good value & we still have the flexibility to eat out too if we want to.. Thanks to the team at Asimina you are all very special!

From the moment you arrive you know it is special. No signing in at reception but your own personal welcome with champagne and nibbles. The staff without exception are wonderful and we even had our normal morning coffee brought to us at the pool without needing to order(a nice touch) The buffet is great both for breakfast and evening meal. There are two a la carte restaurants - one adjoining the buffet and the Kymata which overlooks the beach. Nothing in too much bother and the Chef at the buffet even prepared a special fish dish which was gluten free as one on offer had a gluten sauce. The suites are kept beautifully clean and the fruit and wine on arrival are a nice touch. All being well we will be back next year.

BACKGROUND My wife and I are over 65, fairly well travelled and a bit picky. THE HOTEL This is an elegant, adults only hotel. The arrival arrangements are second to none. You will feel special. Our suite was good but not brilliant (see later). The pool was spotless and there is a pier going out about 30 metres into a sheltered bay. It is fun to jump or dive off the end into the warm, buoyant sea. We had reserved a cabana (EUR 40 per day) but cancelled this as the grass area behind the pool had more than enough sun beds which were well spaced. There is no need to rush in the morning to claim a sun bed. You will receive a cold face towel and a cool fruit cocktail at noonish every day. A nice touch. DINING The buffet restaurant is adequate. The a la carte inside the hotel was sparsely used. The jewel in the crown is the Kymata terrace restaurant. Fabulous setting next to the sea under tree branches. There are no outside restaurants within an acceptable walking distance of the hotel. We went to Paphos harbour several times (EUR 10 each way) where there is a wide selection of places to eat. Take a taxi one evening and go to Muse restaurant in Paphos old town. Fabulous setting and ambience. NIGGLES There were no drawers and only a few silly shelves in our suite, so we lived out of suitcases for several days until the hotel put some IKEA type, low, free standing shelf units in our suite so that we could empty our suitcases. Not what we expect from a 5 star hotel. Our sea facing suite was in fact a side sea facing suite facing west. Avoid this as the sun is so strong that the balcony is unusable from early evening until sunset. SUMMARY On balance, we have to give this hotel 4 out of 5. It is comparatively expensive and falls short is some areas. However, you will feel special.

This was our SIXTH visit to Asimina Suites Hotel. We had a wonderful 14 nights relaxing and chilling out in the sun at our favourite hotel in Paphos. If you’re looking for that all inclusive 5 Star luxury experience, then don’t delay and book into Asimina Suites Hotel. You will not be disappointed. We’ve stay at this hotel many times and never on any of our visits have we experienced any problems. If anything, the experience gets better and better every time we come back. On arrival, on every visit, we are greeted by Miruna and her lovely reception team. Miruna and her team do an effortless job in welcoming every guest personally to the hotel along with Spyros, the Hotel Manager and any members of the management team who may be on duty. On this visit, our room was on the second floor with a sea view from the balcony. The accommodation Manager within the hotel does an amazing job for every single guest, to ensure their stay within the hotel is a comfortable and enjoyable experience. The rooms are immaculate, the maids visit twice a day, in the morning and again at night. These are the colleagues who keep the operation going in the background but yet, don’t get enough recognition when you read through the reviews. If you like breakfast, then you won’t be disappointed. There’s a choice from continental, to the traditional English breakfast along with plenty of other choices. For lunch, you have the choice of a buffet selection where you can either sit inside or outside, you can also have lunch at Kymata which has a lovely view of the sea, or you can choose to order from the bar and have lunch by the pool. In the evening there’s a choice of having a buffet dinner, which is always warm and fresh or you can eat down at Kaymata overlooking the sea. Whether you eat in the main restaurant, inside or outside, Joanna and her lovely team go over and above to make your dinning experience one you won’t forget. A special thanks to Elena, Giorgoes and Nikitas who couldn’t do enough for us and the rest of Joanna’s team who worked effortlessly at breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can also dine at Kymata overlooking the sea, which is very peaceful and calm, along with lovely music which is played in the background. A special thanks Marios and his team, especially Katarzyna, Elena, Simon and Ivana who do an amazing job day in, day out and always have a friendly smile on their face. If you like cocktails, then you must attend the cocktail demonstration which is on every Monday at 18:30 in the VIP bar and if you like gin, there’s also a gin presentation every Friday at 18:30 in the VIP bar, where George the Bar Manager will share his knowledge on both, you even get to taste the cocktail that’s made, so thank you George. Lastly, it can’t go with saying that both Spyros the Hotel Manager and Michael the Deputy Manager have exceptional customer care and look after every guest in the hotel from when you arrive up until you leave. Both Managers are always visible and accessible if and when you need them. We look forward to seeing you all in April 2023.
