Architecturally it looks, to be honest, a bit of a monstrosity & not at all in keeping with its traditional village surroundings (the architects & planners have just managed to do the same thing to Kaltbad on Rigi). Having said that it has a super terrace on which to relax in the afternoon sun after the lovely four lakes walk...

This location is located more or less in the exact middle of Switzerland. It is only a car drive of 90 minutes from Zurich, or 45 from Lucerne far away. Once you arrive you are surprised by this idillic place. The View is fantastic, and the hotel even more. Superb rooms are welcoming you at 5000 ft asl. The Wellness,...

I can't say much about the food as I took a bolognese spaghetti. But the view is stunning !! And the spa is amazing. The service is very nice and welcoming. The massage full body is pretty good too. The sauna with a view on the mountains is really relaxing.. A must do ! And very romantic

Chose this hotel based on a friend recommendation. It is very much tucked away, and it feels more 'swiss' than international. [which is a good thing, although don't expect English to be widely printed on documents in the hotel, or spoken in places like the spa.] The rooms are generously sized, and feels very new and well maintained. Do try...

I stayed at the hotel over New Year's Eve with my girlfriend for four nights. We were mostly there for the spa, relaxing and a few outdoors activities. We were very happy with our stay there and will definitely return! Getting there: It's easiest to just follow the directions on the website and reserve a parking space at the Stöckalp....

We came here for a meeting and it was great. The rooms are very nice and decorations with a rustic mountain cabin look. The food was great and the location by the lake is perfect. Would definitely recommend going here, either for business or pleasure.

Elegantly modern and stylish this place took our breath away. We stayed off season and we drove up to the hotel in our car, up what I think is a ski run in winter. Fantastic scenic route with lots and lots of hair pin bends. The staff were very amusing and attentive. Dinner was delicious, having one of the best...

I booked a double room for two nights, for a hiking/fishing weekend on Melchsee-Frutt. Check-in was quick and friendly. Our room was spacious, clean, and had a great view over the lake and mountains. The amenities might not yet be up to were they should be, but the hotel room is absolutely great! We had dinner at the bar, service...
