My wife and I have just completed a weeks stay at this truly outstanding hotel. We stayed in a Grand Deluxe room which was very spacious and well furnished - the bed was the size of two standard double beds in width, amazing! The hotel is finished to a very high standard, lots of marble and quality woods, fine furnishings.
Breakfast possibly the best we’ve ever had - and we’ve travelled A LOT. Snacks were delicious but we didn’t eat dinner here. Can recommend Shemeena a short walk from the hotel, and even closer the Phutawan literally at the hotel entrance. This restaurant looks a bit skanky from the outside with its cheapo Pizza signs but we tried it based on the reviews of others and found the food to be really delicious.
Hotel prices for food and drink are VERY high compared to everywhere nearby, if you can walk max 1/4 mile to nearby stores and restaurants you can save a small fortune.
The hotel is located in a very steep location. There are lots of carts/cabs to take you to/from your room but people who are less able will probably struggle.
Note to management: If any of you read this review our feedback is that your staff are quite ridiculously fabulous and even by the high standards of the Land of Smiles are a true beacon. You have a team of solid gold workers and you should be incredibly proud of their professionalism but more so, their super-friendly, over-and-above attitude. Just WOW to the staff and a massive thank you, we will never forget you.

Dear WilySilverFox, It sounds like you two really hit the jackpot staying with us and we are delighted you chose to stay with us. As for breakfast, we love that it was the best you’ve ever had. After traveling a lot, that’s no small feat! And I’m totally with you on the Phutawan tip—looks can be deceiving, but the local Thai food is on point. Management surely does read your reviews and we have a huge smile on our faces - It’s always the people that make the experience memorable, and we are very luck to have such a great team with us. It’s not every day a team gets called “ridiculously fabulous,” but they definitely deserve the credit as I know they work hard to ensure a great stay. What a wonderful hotel! We have had the most marvellous and unforgettable stay at the Pullman Phuket Arcadia Naithon Beach. From the moment we arrived at the airport in Phuket we were greeted at the entrance by the vivacious and brilliant Syn, who with Chad the driver, brought us to the hotel. This was such a convenient and easy choice for us, after two months traveling in Europe.
On arrival at reception, our registration for our three night stay was seamless having done much of the online registration earlier. As we were being taken through the offerings of the hotel and made welcome by Mae Mae, the hotel loyalty manager, we were also welcomed by Albert, the excellent and proactive manager of the Pullman Arcadia. We can’t remember a hotel manager being so engaged and interested in his guests as Albert and met with him on other occasions during our stay. We felt very very welcome and appreciated.
We dined on our first night at the excellent Italian inspired Vero restaurant and on our other nights at Elements, the all day dining restaurant, offering an excellent breakfast buffet and impressive evening dining combining western and Asian menus. They catered brilliantly for my wife’s gluten intolerance. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to Urs, the Food Manager, who visited our table to check that we had all we needed and to make our stay as comfortable as possible when dining.
Thank you also to the wonderful staff who cared for us during our stay and to Khaw who was such a great ambassador for the hotel when she engaged so cheerfully at breakfast. The entire team at the hotel were outstanding.
The entire Elements restaurant team are the kindest and most accommodating! They are such lovely people. Pong and Orn who managed the breakfast and dinner team whilst we there were unbelievably caring especially of Elizabeth and her gluten intolerance! Thank you Pong, Orn, Miw, Kha, Note, Aom, Sonya, Pupay and Chadon. We will be back.
The hotel spreads over several levels all accessible by foot or buggy should one be needed. We had an ocean view room which was wonderful and a real treat during our stay. The room itself was perfect with an excellent bed and efficient air conditioning.
There was nothing we could fault about our stay and will definitely be return visitors should another opportunity arise when we are able to travel to Thailand.
Thank you to Albert and his wonderful team for their care and kindness during our stay!

Dear Peter L, In a word...THANK YOU! we appreciate your very kind words and better still you had a great time with us. We are very lucky to have leader like Albert & Urs with us and I know under their guidance the team is able to thrive and focus on making the guest stay the best it can possibly be . Leaders don't force people to do things they invite them to join the journey which in our case is to create a resort our Guest Love.... We will ensure all those you mention in this review are recognised and rewarded for their efforts and they wanted to let you know it as their pleasure looking after you during your stay with us. A lot to digest? Read an AI-generated summary of recent traveller reviews.
Positives 1. The hotel location is lovely with convenient access to the public beach which is clean and child friendly. 2. The breakfast offers a great choice of food and service was very good for hot drinks and choice of eggs / noodle dishes. 3. The NYE party was very good with great atmosphere - although expensive.
Negatives
1. As many reviewers have commented, the pool condition isn't great. There are so many loses tiles in the pool including sharp pieces. You can see kids collecting the loose tiles from the bottom as a game - not great !! There's many reviews on this particular issue going back over many months.
2. Our room had so many bright lights that were annoying at night. The AC control panel and the light switches all had lights bright enough to light up the room. We ended up using a towel to cover them up !
3. The hotel has two restaurants. The main buffet restaurant is available for a choice of Thai food. Expensive and the quality isn't great compared to what you get outside the hotel.
4. The Italian restaurant works on a reservation system. Without reserving a table, you won't get a table unless it's very quiet. When we arrived the first night, we were turned away when it appeared most tables were empty. We then made a booking for a few nights later. We spoke to the manager to explain that we have seen many frustrated customers with the same issue being turned away but he politely explained the issue they face if they don't allow table bookings. They should retain some tables for walk ins as it's hard with young kids to plan each meal.
5. An hour after finishing breakfast we were sat near the pool and our little girl had just half eaten a muffin when we were told we shouldn't take food from breakfast to eat outside!
6. The staff seem distant and don't offer the same welcome you get in Bali or Maldives.
The hotel has good points but we wouldn't choose to stay again unfortunately.

Dear GrandTour09745399385, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We truly appreciate both your positive and constructive comments, as they help us on our journey to creating a resort Guest Love. We’re glad to hear that you enjoyed the hotel’s location, the clean and child-friendly beach, as well as the breakfast options and the NYE party atmosphere! It's great to know that the team provided good service during your breakfast experience. We completely understand your concerns regarding the loose pool tiles, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this caused. We recognise how frustrating this can be, and we want to assure you that we are actively working on addressing the issue. In light of the high season, we made the decision to keep the pool open rather than close it for 3 months and impact guests even more. To ensure safety, we have staff working in the pool every night to make necessary repairs, and we also provide pool socks for those who wish to use them. We understand how the reservation system at the Italian restaurant can be frustrating, especially for families. It’s a very popular spot, and to prioritize our in-house guests, we do our best to inform everyone at check-in about the need for a reservation, particularly when traveling with children. Additionally, we do not accept bookings from outside the resort to ensure our guests have priority. As a parent myself, I know how challenging it can be when kids are hungry, and we truly appreciate your suggestion. We may look into adopting a no-reservation policy before 7 pm to better accommodate families - The only challenge is with such a stunning view, everyone seems to want a table around 6:30 pm to catch the sunset. At Pullman, we pride ourselves on our service culture, and it’s something that consistently receives positive feedback from our guests. This makes your comments particularly surprising and disappointing, as Thailand is known as the Land of Smiles, and at Pullman we strive to champion this motto. We’d really appreciate it if you could provide more details on your feelings, as we are always looking for ways to improve. Please feel free to reach out to me directly at brett.wilson@accor.com. While we respect your decision not to return, I would be remiss if I didn’t ask for the chance to turn your current memories into something more positive. These moments offer a valuable opportunity for us to make things right, and we would love the chance to welcome you back and ensure your next stay exceeds expectations. Kind Regards Brett Wilson General Manager

If you have children avoid this place like the plague. The family rooms overlook a pool that used to be a family pool but has been changed to “adults only” with a tequila bar. Instead you have to catch a shuttle bus from your family room to the other side of the resort to take your kids for a swim. Kids club consists of a sterile room where they can paint and draw but that’s about it. No fun activities like most hotels would have for children. My kids went once and then never wanted to go again. There are no games rooms or any activities at all for children. In my opinion they should just make the whole hotel adults only and be done with it. There are basically 2 dinner restaurants, an Italian and a Thai restaurant. Definitely not enough for a hotel that is positioned in such a remote location on the island. There are plenty of tequila bars, wine bars and various other bars if that’s your thing. In my opinion, axe some of these bars and replace with other dining options. I could be wrong but my opinion is most people enjoy a few cocktails and beers around the pool, but very few people are interested in dedicated tequila and wine bars. In summary if you don’t have kids and drinking alcohol is what you love best on holiday, then this place is for you. If you do have kids or enjoy a wide range of dining options avoid this one.

Dear 13351PYYdarrent, Thank you for sharing your feelings with us and we are truly sorry you felt this way. Having spoken with you during your arrival to discuss the changes and offering you choices to make sure your family stay could be the best it could be - we feel slightly sad, given you made the decision to continue to stay and we checked in with you every day to ensure all was fine. You are correct, we did make a decision to turn the float pool area in to Adults only with a modern Mexican food & Margarita concept. Prior to the changes we consulted regular family guests, our business partners and loyal members. The feedback was extremely positive with most families suggesting the main pool located closest to lobby was their preferred choice due to the views and proximity to the restaurants. Having my kids live in the resort since they were born, they tend to live at the kids club so not sure why your kids didn't enjoy but every child is different. I know the team have taken your comments onboard and will make a better effort to ensure a copy of the activities is known when first arriving - thank you for help us in this matter. At Pullman we certainly welcome kids and will continue to welcome kids as we appreciate family time is one of the most important parts of our life - we just hope you may be able to appreciate we also want the Adults to have some quality time too - even those with kids deserve some time out when on holidays. Kind Regards Brett Wilson General Manager Brett Wilson General Manager

Fantastic Hotel, great location and fantastic amenities.
True reflection of our stay at the Pullman Arcadia Naithon From arrival you realise what an exceptional experience you will have. The lobby is wow and the welcome drink is amazing apple and beetroot freshly pressed. The buggy’s to the room are quirky and required we stayed on level 4 and although quite fit it was a workout from the lobby to the room. Views from the room were exceptional and cleaned everyday to a great standard.
Stayed Bed and Breakfast and I will say I have travelled a lot and this was the best breakfast buffet choice I have ever had. Fresh Cold Pressed Juice from a Salad Bar that you can choose yourself, eggs Benedict, fresh soup, donuts, thai food, western food and staff that are proud of where they work.
Gym was great and loved every bar, if there is a downside food and drink is overpriced and we met guests outside of the hotel that would have had stayed for drinks in the evening if better priced. This meant the atmosphere wasn’t as good in the evenings as it could have been.
Naithon is not a resort for the party people it’s relaxed with some lovely street food,if you want a great stay close to the airport I recommend

Dear Boris2002, We're so glad to hear that you had an exceptional experience with us, and it sounds like you really made the most of everything we have to offer — from the "wow" lobby to the quirky buggy rides! We love that the breakfast buffet was one of your best! I know teh culinary team trys to make it a foodie's dream come true. And we’ll admit, we are pretty proud of it too As for the prices, we totally get where you're coming from — we’re all about making memories, not breaking budgets! We’ll take that feedback to heart and see how we can make things a little more wallet-friendly while keeping the quality high. We’re so glad you loved our local community and its relaxed vibe — it’s perfect for those who want to unwind, not party 'til dawn. Thanks again for sharing your experience, and we hope to see you again soon (maybe for some more eggs Benedict?) Our Beach House Your Phuket Holiday Home Brett Wilson General Manager

Arriving at the Pullman you are shown to the beautiful open air reception and checked in (which was very quick and easy). I stayed in an ocean front room and the view was absolutely worth it, I had a great view of the beach and the sunset every night. The hotel grounds are vast and they offer a buggy service to take you around, as well as a shuttle down to the beach, but I used the steps and walkway from the hotel to the beach. My room was very light and airy and on brand for Pullman, I have stayed at a few in various countries and appreciate the consistency. Really handy having a beach bag and beach towels in the room as well as a rechargeable bluetooth speaker. 5 soft drinks were free in the minibar per day which was great, however my minibar was not restocked at any point during my 4 nights there so once I had finished something it wasn't replenished. Some maintenance people also came into my room to add a small sofa to it and when they were finished they left both of the doors to my room wide open (the rooms have double doors to them). I was on my balcony so didn't notice until someone from housekeeping came in and notified me. I'm not sure why they wouldn't close the door behind them after they finished, but luckily none of my possessions were missing. The hotel grounds were amazing, I was taking pictures everywhere. The main pool was great, lots of loungers around and you're able to use a bell to ask for service which was handy. I used the gym a couple of times and it was well equipped and overlooked the greenery. I had a few cocktails in the bar in the evening and asked the bartender to make me an off-menu cocktail, which they did perfectly and I really appreciated it. Breakfast was tasty and varied enough for me to try something different each morning. I loved the area as I purposely didn't want to stay somewhere really busy and wanted to relax, which I did. Overall it was a great stay despite the few minor inconveniences.

The staff were friendly, efficient and accommodating with one exception, when I asked a question about the information in the room compendium they were unaware of the compendium. The Ocean Room was spacious, clean, well appointed and did have great sea views. The two infinity pools were excellent with great views and attentive pool staff. The location was lovely though a little out of the way for getting around the tourist attractions, though the elephant sanctuary close by was exceptional and a highlight of the trip. Getting around the hotel grounds could be physically demanding in the heat because of the hilly setting though the internal shuttle service was excellent. It was a nice touch for both General Managers Brett and Albert to search us out to say hello. The food overall was good, Vero Italian was very nice. Poke Bowl deli also very nice, snacks at CBar were ok as they were at MBar. The Thai at Elements was a little disappointing but the breakfasts at the same restaurant were extensive and very good with the egg chefs being very quick and efficient. One thing that was missing was an Accor Members Lounge and we spotted numerous places where one could be located. The treats provided at breakfast for Platinum members while a nice touch were unnecessary as they did not fit with breakfast and they would be better late afternoon/early evening. Going off the resort into Naithon Beach town was a nice walk via the lovely surf beach or by taking the hotel hourly shuttle. There were plenty of street vendors offering street food and souvenirs at very reasonable prices. There were also plenty of bars and restaurants available. Overall a very enjoyable holiday and we would definitely stay here again.

My brother Mark & I both stayed @ Pullman from the 3rd - 13th September. This was my 10th stay at this hotel since 2012. On arrival found had been upgraded to an Ocean room located easy access to the main hotel & Elements restaurant. The hotel is built on the side of the cliff with amazing views of the Andaman Ocean & views of Nai Thon Beach.
The grounds and facilities provided are exceptional. The room we stayed in was well maintained and the house keeping staff ensured daily the room was cleaned and fresh linen and towels provided. The food at Elements for breakfast & dinner was amazing and a credit to head chef Dennis & his staff in the kitchen. We were spoilt every morning with a champagne breakfast and was such a treat. A range of in-house cakes available at C Bar were delicious and a must try. Both pools onsite were amazing with ample deck chairs and umbrellas provided. On raining days utilized the community room which had a pool table and sitting areas to relax. M Bar is a great addition to this hotel located in the over 18's area beside the upper- hill -level swimming pool.
We both need to thank General Manager Brett Wilson & Food & Beverage manager Urs for their attention to detail and assistance during our stay. Also, all the wonderful team members in Elements & C bar & Azur pool bar & Deli & other areas of the hotel for making our stay at Pullman Arcadia the best experience.
Also, special mention to the following staff - C Bar - Popper Elements - Noh & Khaw & Orn & Miw & Too & Nan & Lisa & Nid & Nabdow & Sine & Bowvy & Jeaw & Poopey & Chadon & Aom & Aomsin & Pomam & Ja & Sa & Bank& Bovy & Too & Muay & Noon & Nupdow & Pars M Bar - Gam & On
Hoping to return in 2025 for my 11th stay.

We spent 1 week in the Pullman in a deluxe room. The rooms were quite worn and in need of renovation. The hotel complex is on a steep slope and you sometimes have to walk a long way to get to your room (we were almost at the top). You can also get a ride in petrol cars - environmental considerations?! There are 2 pools, one in the upper part of the complex (note: construction site for a new bar until February 2024) and a main pool below. We thought the towels that were tied to the umbrellas as sunshades were a great idea! The breakfast was excellent and offered an extremely wide selection of cold and warm dishes. The bread/pastry corner was a highlight! Unfortunately, we had several problems communicating with the staff in English. As a result, many orders for coffee/drinks went wrong. That shouldn't happen in a hotel of this class on Phuket. The bar was good, the staff very attentive. We were a little disappointed with the selection at happy hour, other hotels do it better. There is also no "local water" available in the hotel (except in the room), only expensive Italian water is sold and imported - environmental considerations?! Unfortunately, the friendliness at reception left a lot to be desired, especially when checking out - no "thank you", no "how did you like it" or anything like that. That doesn't motivate you to come back! Absolutely unusual, especially for friendly Thai conditions!

Stayed at this fabulous hotel for 10 nights. Was very impressed. Beautiful hotel, very attentive, humble, helpful staff from domestic to management. Breakfast was amazing lots to choose from and was well organised. Two restaurants on site Vero, Italian cuisine amazing food, wine and Elements Thai and European cuisine also amazing. Pool area absolutely stunning and plenty of beds for everyone. The beach is accessible from pool area via steep steps. You have to be mobile to use these steps as they are very steep, but there is a shuttle bus direct from hotel lobby to beach every hour. Taxis are very reasonable also. On the plus side the hotel rooms have good quality shampoo, conditioner, bodywash in the shower area and hand wash an body lotion next to the basin. There is also a hairdryer, iron and ironing board in every room. Also rooms are very clean and are cleaned every day. Towels and bedding are changed every day.
The Dhatri Spa which is on site at the hotel of which Ms. Dao is the Director of the spa is very welcoming. I had a full body Thai Massage, facial and foot massage worth every penny. I have been all over the world having various massages and this is the best I have had the pleasure of having. Very reasonably priced also.
One thing I would mention is that the resort is very steep at parts, but you can get a lift in a small open bus from the lobby to your apartment/villa any time of the day or night.
We will definitely be returning. We loved every minute.

Yes we used the hotel limo and it was great and well priced. Go for it especially given you are travelling alone. Was a little hard to find the driver at the airport but other than that great.
There’s always Rain in Thailand, however it’s always warm so clothing is summer clothing regardless.
You’ll also find umbrellas scattered across the hotel which you can take with you outside.
The Rain comes and goes and it’s very hard to have two days in a row with no rain at all.
There are more places to choose from in the Sakhu area.
