The restaurant food was really lovely, and the staff very friendly. The kids loved the pools, which we had pretty much to ourselves because it was low season. Having a pool to ourselves was great too - the adults could sit and read while the kids splashed to their hearts' content. The beach is shallow for miles, and pretty flat... More

We stayed in a villa at Samui Beach Village resort for 6 nights in July. Two families with children ranging from ages 3 to 12 shared the villa. There were 10 of us in total. The positives: - it was a beautiful villa with our own pool - food from the resort restaurant was excellent, even if they often got... More

If you are thinking of booking a holiday at SBV, I would strongly recommend you keep looking.  We reserved a villa, paid for it and it was confirmed, but we later discovered we were actually booked into a different villa.    When we noticed this several weeks prior to arrival we were assured the villa we were assigned was equivalent... We came to SBV for a wedding, so accomodation was pre-defined for us. However perusing the SBV site you have the impression that the resort is that, a resort. In fact, it is probably more accurate to describe it as a village (with streets, houses, resort style villas & a club house). The stay was lovely, area beautiful and the... More

We travelled here after spending 8 days in Kata at Club Med. We had a very chaotic and pretty off putting arrival - car too small, no one to meet us arriving late at night, room air con not on when we got to the rooms and many others things which reminded me of Faulty Towers. I did address this... More

I went to the Samui Beach Village in July 2012, the place is fit for a specific type of people whom i would categorize as the "chillers". I went on my honeymoon and it was just bliss. We stay in pool for hours enjoying the sun and the mojitos. Though a little expensive but for that they give you an... More

We stayed in a bottom Ocean Room during July 2012. Room was nice and clean. The staff at the resort very friendely and helpful. Had a lovely time here. Good place for a relaxing holiday. Sorry we did not book for a longer period. Will definitely recommend to other travellers.

The villas were beautiful but that is the only thing going for this resort. We were so disappointed in the resort when we got there, because all the photos on there website are NOT CURRENT and VERY MISLEADING! The '60 meter beach front pool' (which is a 10 min walk down the beach) that is advertised on the website is... More

Visited Koh Samui Easter 2012 and after exploring the island are convinced we chose the idyllic place to stay in SBV. SBV is ideally situated towards the South and has a huge white powder sand beach with safe shallow sea. The backdrop to the resort is a beautiful range of mountains and the garden areas are very well maintained to... More
