Stayed here for 4 day after reading all the good reviews. The location is good, but you will need a bike to get to the "happening" areas of lamai like the night market. Rooms are big and spacious with a balcony in front and behind the room. We were on level 3 which was quiet but had to walk up....

We accidentally found this hotel after walking around for awhile looking at various bungalows to sleep in. This was by far the best place to stay in Koh samui. It was 800 baht for the nit for two of us, and our room was massive with two double beds, hot water shower, safe in room, and AC. It's not on...

I have stayed here twice now. Once in April/ May 2010 and June 2013. The rooms are huge and very clean. Air con is very good and easy to use. Wifi connection is good. It's a little bit removed from the main area of Lamai so is very quiet. I paid about 500 baht a night here (£10) which for...

I really loved this hotel. The best part of this hotel was that they had big, spacious, comfortable and clean rooms(with lockers) at a very reasonable cost, we paid 600 THB/day. Me and my 5 friends stayed here for 2 days. It is very near to beach(say 300 m) and had a 24*7 store right in front of it. So,...

Me and my girlfriend needed somewhere to stay after a visit from the family in a posh resort. We wanted to be near the beach but not necessarily on the beach and realised everywhere was quite expensive compared to other islands. We stayed here for 900B a night and were more than happy. The room was really big and the...

I spent hours trying to find an affordable decent room in Samui. Most places over charge but I got a very clean, air conditioned room with a great bed for under 1000baht. It had hot water, little patio, very clean bathroom, and a great big bed... no mosquitos too which was great. location is so so and it has no...

We found this place with special promotion price of 500 baht special, which was an incredible steal. The room was completely modern and clean, spotless! We had an A/C room, with hot water, a king size bed, built-ins, TV with cable, wifi and an outdoor bench to hang around on. It is close to Central Lamai, night and food markets...

I really enjoyed my stay at Vanda House. The rooms are very nice, and quite large, with porches on the front and back. Everything at Vanda House is extremely clean and well-maintained, and the beds and bedding are of very good quality. The staff are friendly and helpful. While not right on the beach, it's only a short walk to...

“There are three floors. I recommend requesting a room on the upper floor”

“All rooms are similar but a room on the 3rd floor would give good views.”

“Do not go to the beach resorts. They are over 1000 baht a night minimum and are always very small and cramped! Check out the hostels along the road!”

“Big huge spacious rooms with great ambiance. Perfect for all types of travelers including couples.”
Freakyy_Traveller, 25 Feb 2013 | Read review
“I preferred my room on the main floor to the one I had on the third floor. While the third floor had a view, it was also quite noisy from the gamecocks kept on neighboring propery. Fortunately, on the ground floor, the garden wall blocks out the crowing of the birds and some of the music from nearby bars. Room #1 is, in my opinion, the best one at the resort because it has a side window which gives more light, and you are able to get wireless in the room (not the case on the top floors or rooms further away from the lobby area).”
