Have stayed at Hapuna Prince many times and we are very disappointed in the changes since it became a Westin. The service is slow and unfriendly. Waited 25 minutes for a drink in the lounge which no longer provides live music in the evening. Noisy construction going on all day.

This is our 4th stay here. The hotel has always been a very large, open, minimalist design. Many changes/additions have been made. The open areas now have intimate seating areas with lots of new furniture, a new bar and morning coffee shop. There is an all day "Grab & Go"

We stayed here Feb 8-13 in a South Tower partial ocean view room which had a wonderful view of the ocean. During our vacation Feb1-13 we also stayed @ the Fairmont Orchid and Marriott Waikoloa Ocean Club. This was our favorite resort that we stayed at. Firstly, when you walk in

Now owned by the Marriott oligopoly, with a computer system that recognizes no data from the recently acquired Starwood group: ready, fire, aim! We were "upgraded" to a room that I luckily discovered was next to the ongoing construction. We would have had jackhammers, drills,

We are sorry to see your comments regarding the oceanfront towers conversion to private residences by a private developer. We are working closely with their team to minimize the impact on our guest experience. We would like to apologize for any inconveniences during your dining experience but appreciate you bringing this information to the attention of our Hotel Management Team. It is through valued feedback such as yours that we can address all issues to exceed the expectations of our guests. Thank you for your time!

Many have commented on the quality of this hotel including its location, layout, beach, ground, etc., all of which are justified. However the hotel is not without some problems. The housekeeping, for one, is not up to speed. Dust is collected in many places (phone, cocktable,

It was very interesting to receive the answer from you that I did. I did try to negotiate with management at the Hotel itself. My career was with an major airline and I know how to negotiate. It did not work with the Westin group. I did make a stink but Westin did not care with the exception of one person. However, resort fees not charged did not help with the fact that I was still in a room that was across from the construction. I also feel you think I must negotiate with management to receive a better room away at South away from North to feel better about the situation. The Manger did not meet with meet after I asked for a meeting numerous times. I was stuck in the room for 10 days with construction except for Sunday. We were treated like we did not exist or that we ever stayed at the hotel before. I always mention 10 days. It is a long time . We loved this hotel. The beach was something I ran every morning. The rooms were wonderful. The noise and lack of concern from management was unbelievable. I will to let me know that this Westin Hotel could care less about your experience at this hotel if you are in the North are of the hotel and how many times your were their before.

Don’t want to raise your expectations but my husband is and we got upgraded. Now I’m sure if anyone asks, they’ll do their best to accommodate if they have availability. They’re so nice!

There are mini fridges, but I have never seen a full kitchen at the Hapuna Westin. They are adding kitchens, of course to the Condos that are causing all the construction noise.

Also! We were told by or drivers that Uber/Lyft is available around 11-12pm because someone always needs a ride. But you may have to wait. When we went in December, the taxi and hotel shuttle cost $90

I don't know as I didn't ask, but even though it is annoying, we didn't let it destroy our good time at the resort. The view of the ocean was still beautiful. We would go again.
