Excellent stay, walk to beach. Food options are very good. Complimentary breakfast was very tasty and many options, The resort is very big with many rooms. Staffs are polite and helpful. Definitely recommendable.

Our stay in this resort was for a day and I must say from start till end, the entire circle have been a fab experience. We were picked up on time the time we landed on to the ferry. It’s at a short distance and you don’t have to go around here and there. Later, had a warm welcome with complementary drink and then was escort to the resort room. Rooms were clean hygienic and so were the amenities. The only pool that that resort has is for kids but how it matters when you have access to your own private beach 24/7. The beach even is well maintained and the beach resort would arrange food for lunch and dinner next to the beach. It’s a spectacular sight to behold by the beach side at late night. You also have other amenities such as scuba diving and snorkeling at an extra cost but it’s worth the money spent. There is a separate section for dine in in case you don’t want to have food by the beach side or wanna have it delivered to your room. They even arrange for a DJ night by the evening which is a cherry on the top. Overall we had a lovely stay, some great food, a private beach with crystal clear water to snorkel around and enjoy every bit with love care and hospitality. I won’t have a second thought in recommending someone if you plans to visit Havelock. Cheers!

Disappointing stay and have to wonder at the authenticity of some of these reviews as they bear no resemblance to our experience.
Had to ask for a change of room as ours was so dirty and smelt of dysentery. We had a swap after 2 nights. The state of the decor, particularly the tiling is so badly done the rooms look dirty. When we raised problems they did try to deal with them.
The building work is on quite a scale and the drilling starts early in the morning and includes around the pool. This is closed from 1-4 and the cleaning usually takes place about 10-12.
Breakfast is not great, though on our request things did improve and they tried and even offered to make us omelettes. We had to say something - the fresh butter was added to the bowl of melted butter with bits of food in it etc.Everything is just a bit grubby.
The beach is rocky and too dangerous to swim in, though you can go to a nice spot just up by the diving school next door.
The staff definitely try and are really friendly, but we wouldn’t go back.

On the first day, our rooms were relocated away from the beachside even though we paid for the view. The poor room service takes at least 2 calls to get any cleaning done. The beach view was OK but not easily accessible due to the jagged rocks below and definitely not worth the price. Most of all, the WiFi is abysmal. You won’t be getting adequate WiFi unless you’re right inside the lobby, and even then, you’re sharing 3G WiFi with everyone there. And construction on the property will keep you awake. Overall, do not recommend.

We stayed here for two nights. I was traveling with my senior parents. The resort is nice and has wooden huts/cottages. The staff were friendly and helpful. They did seem to be understaffed and overworked, seemed to affect the speed of service. The complimentary breakfast was reasonable in taste, quality and spread.
The resort has a private beach. The beach itself is beautiful but unfortunately, there seems to be minimal maintenance of the beach. Considering, it is a white sandy beach with pristine water, I would hope that the resort would regularly clean the beach and minimize littering. Unfortunately, I did not feel this was the case at the time of the visit.

There is no way that this resort offers value for money. The room rate is extortionate considering what you actually get for your money. I can't emphasize enough how fundamentally underwhelmed by our stay here. The room was satisfactory at best, very few English channels on the TV and no internet except exceptionally slow wi-fi in the lobby area. The breakfast was ok but we had to constantly remind the staff to clean the tables. The dinner was so overpriced that we actually thought the staff was joking when they suggested it. 4500 rupees (excluding taxes) for the dinner for two by the beach. I'm still not sure if that is the official price or the staff added on extra costs depending on what they thought we could pay. It was suggested that if we pay in cash (and not put it on the room charge) the price would be lower. Basic things like toilet paper was missing. The resort is trying to ram so many bungalows onto their land so as to maximize profit that the overall appearance was utterly chaotic and unappealing. They are seemingly building a swimming pool at the bottom of the resort (which is now a building site), so expect drilling from 9am onwards. Check out is at 8-30am which is absurd considering the room rate that customers are expected to pay. Avoid at all costs.

Hi guys Havelock Island is a awesome island. Havelock Island resort manager is a awesome and excellent service. Am from Chennai our friends planned to trip to andman for 4nights and 5days. We have visited many tourism agent but we doesn't have a satisfaction in there service. Later we got Havelock Island resort manager he planned our trip in awesome budget way from day one to return fight the service was awesome. We stayed 2days in Havelock Island resort it's a beach view cottage with a rolling chair in beach cool breeze 😎👌 awesome. Room was great a complete glass window were you relax from your bed and view beach without any disturbance. Bath place always tidy and perfect hot water after a scuba diver. Breakfast, LED TV, transportation, mini swimming pool and lunch in beach, room service, room staffs everything is perfect even cab drivers know English and Hindi and tamil. We had golden memories in Havelock Island with Havelock Island resort staffs. Thanks for Havelock Island resort manager and staffs who made our trip has a golden memories 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

Best thing about the Hotel was its Beach where you can enjoy Scuba Diving in Morning and A nice relax Walk at Night.
Please Do Scuba in Havelock Island only Nowhere else and try for a 5:30 am slot, water is most Cleaned at that Time. And it will be easier if you stay at this Hotel.
Must try their Lobster,it was delicious. Service was Good, and you get a nice feeling of living in a Cottage there.

I visited HIBR during April and it's very near to the Jetty. I had an amazing stay there. Rooms are decent and ambient. AC/ Geyser/ WiFi amenities are there for all rooms. The staff is supportive. They have restaurant inside the premises only. And probably for sea food lovers, it's the best you might find.
As per your need, you can get transportation arranged from reception to roam around. Many water sports activities you can get arranged near by. Rented bikes are also available near by.
Their private beach is well maintained and you can use it during noon time. Early morning and by night, it will be low tide probably. But beach is open at all the time. They have a swiming pool inside. It's also well maintained and safe for kids. They can arrange dinner service by beach side at night with separate charges.
