Seashell Havelock is a hop skip and jump away from the ferry, and I loved our stay at this property! I was here in October 2019 for a 3 day stay and the highlights of this resort revolve around lip-smacking food, access to a private beach area, the only club in Havelock island (if you are a music/dancing fan) and amazing hospitality that ticks all boxes.
The raw materials they use for food is all locally sourced and hanbdpicked, and they have a state of the art kitchen which you need gloves/headwear/foot covers to enter. Cleanliness is prime, and it reflects in the quality of food. Be it indian or continental, the taste was amazing and I found the same in the Port Blair property as well.
They have a private beach area, which is especially amazing at night if you are with a group of friends and need to unwind under the moon by the beach. It makes for great conversations and relaxing! The rooms at this property are spread across a variety of range, catering to family (duplex) or couples (double rooms) and all of them are very well maintained.
Seashell at Havelock has the only club in the island, and this beats some of the best clubs in India as well. BOSE sound system, a live DJ (DJ NY if I remember correctly) who is actually quite amazing btw and a good collection of liquor and short eats make this place lively and peppy! The manager Barun personally attended to us and was very hospitable, adding to the experience!
Finally the top-notch hospitality. I had a few requests during the course of the stay and they were all attended to very quickly, be it a quick clean of the room, or some mosquito repellent or a request for packaged dinner etc. I had the best 3 day vacation in a long long time, with no phone calls to attend to, lazing under the sun by the beach enjoying the cool breeze, and the best hospitality and food/drink experience to match!

A beautiful place! The best place to switch off and let the stressful everyday life get in the way. As soon as you arrive you can already feel the relaxation. It belongs to the more expensive accommodations on the island, but is worth every cent. The private beach and the facilities were fantastic. We booked an Andaman Chalet and had the second house with a direct view to the beach. The chalets are all located in a palm tree covered garden, a fantastic environment. The rooms were very clean and spacious, there was, if you wanted, also daily room service, cosmetics and bath products were also available for free. The service in the whole Sea Shell was extremely friendly! All the staff, from the cleaning staff to the barkeepers, up to the staff in the restaurant or at the reception, always greeted us friendly and smiled at us. It gave us a total feeling of well-being!
The breakfast was great, there were many Indian specialities like Idlis or Chutneys, also you could order different Indian bread specialities (Dosa or Roti for example) and freshly made eggs in all variations. The food was always freshly made and tasted super delicious. Western breakfast components were of course available, as well as coffee and of course chai. The pool, an infinity pool, was great and also a very relaxing place to stay. The beach is beautiful and full of mangroves, to swim you have to walk a few meters over corals into the deeper water, there you can swim. The underwater world is unique, right in front of the hotel's own beach is a reef and you can see colorful fish, shells and corals with the naked eye! Even without diving skills you can explore the underwater world very easily. A snorkeling mask is enough and you can see this beautiful colorful variety as soon as you put your face in the water. In the resort there is a diving school Scubaluv, which is very accommodating when planning snorkeling, boat or diving trips. The bar was great. Special thanks to our front office manager Mrs. Kushboo and Mr.Anand from the Front Desk, they know exactly what the customer expect and they met that too. So a special thanks to Kabir and Kundan Singh from Urban Tadka. All of the staff were extremely professional and more then friendly. Thank you all for making our stay so unforgettable. You feel almost more comfortable than at home. It's a majestic home, far away from home!

Stayed here for one night. This property is situated just 1 minute away from the Havelock jetty. Has direct access to the beach (although I wouldn't call it a beach considering the other amazing beaches that Havelock island has) but is close to the water activities at Havelock. Property is very well. Maintained with gardens and huge coconut trees at the centre. Reception staff is very friendly although for some reason tried to over sell the add ons they have on offer for honeymoon couples. Check in and check out was seamless too with polite bellboys and they also helped us with transportation to the jetty. Special mention for the guys at the urban tadka restaurant.- vinod & apurva.. They catered to all our requests for jain food and also arranged special dishes for us during breakfast. Overall quite a nice experience in our limited time at the property.

Finding the ideal resort can be quite a struggle with the number of options available at Havelock. If you don't want to work too hard on finding one, you could blindly go ahead with SeaShell. :) Frankly, everything about this place is quite spot on!
We had booked 3 Cabanas and the beach was just a few steps away; the breakfast has great variety and the food at both their restaurants tastes very nice, as well. My parents visited the spa and had great stuff to say about their experience. Room service and housekeeping was great too.
The hotel has a dive centre and we booked our scuba diving sessions right here; it was super convenient; we had an amazing diving experience and I heard fellow travellers rave about snorkelling, as well, even though I did not try it.
The rooms though a bit small in size are super comfortable; we did have a lizard or two but when you're in the wild, you can't complain about such stuff.
The WIFI is only at the reception; it's rather weak but is pretty functional for a little bit of WhatsApp. The internet problem is not peculiar to SeaShell; it is an issue in the Andamans. So, this isn't really a negative feedback.
All in all, the property is beautiful and I'd strongly recommend it to anyone visiting Havelock.
P.S. A lot of people are complaining about the generators; yes, a few rooms are a bit unlucky that way; however, we were not; you just need to check for such things while making your bookings.
Tip: If you are a bigger group, you could strike a decent bargain at the dive centre.

Beautiful place! Pricey but the private beach and facilities were awesome. Totally enjoyed the food. Complimentary breakfast had both Indian and Western options and it was plenty of delicious options. We had dinner at the Bonova cafe a night and the food was amazing! They had live DJ a night and even though not many were there it was very private and cozy. The pool was great and the place is filled with coconut trees. The beach is picture perfect but not so safe for a swim because its filled with rocks.
Rooms were clean and the service was great. The front desk could have been a little bit more helpful when we approach them for help with information outside the resort. People were polite and a safe place.
Scubaluv is located inside the resort and very accommodating in scheduling snorkeling and boat ride.
The bar was great and both the cocktails and mocktails were delicious.
Not just Havelock but in general the entire Andaman islands were super expensive and it is the price you would pay to stay at a 5 star in the mainland.

The place is amazing! The staff is courteous and the Andaman Bungalow room was beautiful as was the property.
Since there are not a lot of rooms, the staff has fewer people to attend and therefore they are very responsive and always available. Seashell does focus on quality over the quantity of guests.
What can improve a little is, just a little:
1. Wifi vouchers should have more data because 500MB gets over just like that. They do give you a new code all the time but it's a bit tedious to call every other hour for a new code.
2. Indian food needs a bit more substance. The food felt overpriced for the quality.
3. They should have jetty pickup and drop services.
But still, this is a 10/10 place and I will definitely be back. Also big shout out to Bonova, their multicuisine restobar. Really good food and ambience.

Seashells, Havelock was a beautiful property with a whole lot of adventurous activities. The surroundings were clean, however the hospitality of the hotel was not upto the mark. A simple request of a towel takes 30-35 minutes. During checking out, a simple request for a changing room and umbrella( to use temporarily across the street) was denied. The breakfast restaurant service also wasn't upto the mark and was very slow. We had previously stayed in Seashells, Samsaara in Neil Island, and we had an amazing experience with the hotel staff and the location. We hope, the hotel staff can improve its subpar hospitality in Havelock and provide a decent experience to guests who pay a surprisingly expensive amount.

This was our second trip to andamans and out of all the hotels we have stayed in seashell is one of the best. From the time we reached till the time we left the experience was very good.
All the Staff was very courteous and prompt especially F&B manager Mr. Vinod. My father has some medical problem and he went out of his way to make his dinning comfortable.
It's also very well located close to the jetty so on the last day after breakfast we had sufficient to time catch our ship. It is also walking distance from the scuba diving point.

U get coupons for wifi for every 10gb u need 2 call and ask for wifi code
you need to take the boat ride..
Sorry for very late reply. Our booking included only breakfast. For other meals, payment would have to be done
As others have said there are no rooms actually facing the sea but Andaman cottages ( they are only rooms with a veranda, not actually cottages) no 101, 102 and 103 are closest to the sea as well as the pool.
