Very comfortable room in a great little B&B. The owners were really friendly and gave us some great advice about the local area, including places for dinner. Very convenient location for access to the La Mauricie National Park.

We stayed with Meggie and Venelin for two nights in early July, during our visit to Mauricie park and felt very comfortable in their home. Overall first impression was of a well-managed B&B, with inviting exterior and interior ( wi-fi worked without any interruptions). The place was full both nights we were there, guests coming from Spain, France, Quebec. Our... More

Meggie and her husband (whom we called Theo by his middle name because his first name was difficult to remember) were very welcoming and charming hosts. Upon arrival we were asked to wear slippers inside and we were given a tour of the house. Meggie introduced us to the other Belgians who were staying at the B&B at the time... More

Meggie is a fantastic host, and gave us a huge surprise when we arrived on the day of my wife's birthday. She knows La Mauricie National Park thoroughly, and gave lots of information for us, including their secret spots and personal favorite sights. They also provided 3-course traditional Balkan dinner at site, and we loved Gyuvetche so much!! We shared... More

My partner and me had a wonderful stay at this newly established B&B close to the entrance of La Mauricie National Park. The hosts were very welcoming and always ready to give helpful advice and information about the region. The rooms were nicely decorated, well maintained and spotlessly clean. We were offered a great, fresh breakfast every morning in the... More

To say I was impressed would be an understatement. The home was recently renovated, clean, comfortable, and just plain homey. The owners were friendly, helpful, and considerate. The rooms were comfortable and quiet with a clean bathroom right across the hall. My son and I were the first to experience this great place with what I hesitate to say is... More

We opted for a road trip for our Summer vacation with B&Bs as our only accommodations for 2 weeks. We chose Aux Traditions for it's location as we wanted to visit La Mauricie National Park. This was not the most fancy of our B&Bs but it felt like home or at least like staying with friends. The hosts Meggie and... More

I visited this charming B&B already few times and I love it! It is a typical rustic Quebec house just minutes from the magnificent park de la Mauricie. What I love about it: renovated rooms, tastefully decorated; super friendly and welcoming Meggie & Venci (hosts) who will make you feel home; relaxing backyard; tasty food and real char coal BBQ.... This B&B is an absolute gem ! Located in a little village overlooking the lake and only a few minutes along the road to the entrance to the Mauricie National Park.
