We stayed for 3 nights in September 2021 in the Indigo Room. The stay was very comfortable. Benni and Ganesh are lovely hosts. The heritage house is maintained very well. Ratul, the manager cum cook made the stay even more comfortable. He was available to help with any small requests that we may have. We had a great time. Benni was always around to answer any touristy questions we may have, even Zomato ordering suggestions. Accidentally left my charger and Benni was very understanding and sent it to Delhi as well. Will definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.
Aesthetic, spacious, clean and fresh interesting corners offering different settings for unwinding, pleasant domestic help , sumptuous though simple home-cooked breakfast, plenty of music and books, a lake with a raft of ducks paddling busily, close to places to soak in what Goa is known for...churches ,beaches and markets. We were 12 of us from 19 years to 80 years' age group. All of us felt at home . All of this possible because of a warm couple behind the show! Ganesh and Benita were charming hosts. Were with us for a lot of the time and left us to ourselves for a lot of the time! Strongly recommend a stay for large doses of relaxation and de-stressing.
Our trip to Arco Iris for my mother’s 80th birthday was truly memorable. The resort was in a gracious mansion that was aesthetically pleasing. The hosts were simply exceptional, catering to our every need and even going beyond hostly duties to bake a birthday cake for mom. The environment was very conducive for a large family reunion and with much laughter, music, wine and cake it was truly a vacation to remember. I would gladly recommend this place to all who are seeking a getaway!
Better than five Star hotels. Neat clean and safe facility. Hosts an absolute delight. Decided not to go anywhere and sag out at the facility. Food is awesome and the hosts most willing to help. Clean, neat and safe what a wonderful facility
My wife and I spent two criminally short nights at Arco Iris and the more I think about how best to describe this place, the more confounded I get about how I can explain what this place meant to us. I am nonetheless going to give it a try. Arco Iris is an absolute gift to all of us. Especially artists and musicians. The kind of internal contemplation and slowing down this place can induce is unparalleled by any other place I've been to so far. All I did for 2 days was sit and think and read and play music. It's peaceful beyond belief. The house is absolutely tastefully decorated and not one corner of it has been overdone or neglected. Everything looks just right and the fact that its 220 years old with a rich and deep history only adds massive amounts of charm to the place. The hosts, Ganesh and Benita are wonderfully welcoming, homely and made our experience there feel like a second home. We spent most of our time there in the premises of the house and the garden because it felt silly to leave such a beautiful place and go do something else. This place has everything one needs for an absolute and much needed slowing down that anyone from the city like us needs desperately. The facilities here are aplenty. Food is excellent and the breakfast we got as part of our package was delicious and made for a morning much looked forward to. This place is very easily approachable by road and is located in a dangerously perfect spot overlooking a lake people by several birds during sunsets. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a contemplative, restful, refreshing, quiet, natural and wholesome holiday. The people are wonderful, the place is run perfectly and lastly and most importantly, it is nothing short of what heaven if it were a place, would feel like. My wife and I cannot wait to revisit this again and we are thinking of making this an annual if not more feature in our holiday plans.…
