Wow, what an amazing week at Boscrege! The caravan we rented for 3 adults and 2 children was new, immaculately clean with great facilities. The site is well kept, set in an idilic rural location which is ideally placed for the must do tourist attractions. Sandy beach 5 mins down the road (Praa Sands) and flanked by the most impressive beaches I’ve seen within half an hour drive (Porthkidney and Gwithian). I can’t rate more highly!!!

First time visiting Cornwall and its beautiful part of the world. we stayed at Boscrege Caravan and Camping Park, owners Chris and Susannah was fantastic from time we arrived till the moment we left. We inquired about a bbq and they didn't have one but went out their way and found us one. Internet was a bonus kept kids entertained in the night and fast enough to stream movies and TV shows. Caravan was clean, large fridge freezer and very modern. We will definitely be coming back!

I called the park before booking to check sleeping arrangements for 6 people including a baby. Nice lady said they could take a bed out of the twin room, but tell them before hand, which I did.
4 of us arrived with the baby, to be told that they knew nothing about the cot bed and no-one would help us that night. We sorted it between us, propping a mattress against the wall.
The caravan was suitable to meet our needs and equipped with crockery and cooking bits, which was good. However, whilst cleanliness is reported to be important by the owners, this is not a place I felt was clean, and antibac'd most of the place, before, during and on leaving.
Thick dust on the head boards, rips on the cushions, pillows thin and limp, dead bugs by the sofa and around by the lounge bedding, outside light broken, torch on key didn't work, microwave tatty and rusty, and left over tea and sugar in the caddys - hardly covid reassured.
Overall, this place was ok to be a point to start and end our day. It might be nicer in the sun, when you can explore the hills around and use the outside play area. If worried about hygiene then avoid.

Toilet and showers were removed in between me booking site and arrival and whilst this is now clearly marked on the Website, I was not informed of this change despite the owners having my details. This spoiled my holiday as I had no shower and toilet available within my small caravan and when I tried to discuss this with the owner she was rude, arrogant and had absolutely no empathy for the inconvenience that she caused us. She barked at me that she would give me my money back. I refused this straight away as I understand the pressures that Covid has brought to small businesses. All I wanted from her was an acknowledgment of our inconvenience and maybe a small gesture of goodwill ( I suggested a Wi-fi pass was the sort of thing that I thought would have been appropriate and appreciated). She didn’t want to agree with anything and spent the whole conversation with me with her arms folded and seeming confrontational. I suggested that I would leave the matter with her to consider and could she please get back to me later in my stay . She never did. So we left a day early our holiday well and truely spoiled

We had a wonderful holiday and would return to this site in a heartbeat. The owners beforehand were extremely helpful and friendly and we were made very welcome on arrival. The site is tucked away amongst beautiful scenery and has a calm and peaceful atmosphere. Its not too big and doesnt have lots on site which is exactly what we were after. The caravan was beautiful, a real home from home with everything we could need and spotlessly clean. A member of staff had to come and cut trees behind the van during our stay and was extremely considerate and and friendly. Great location to visit surrounding towns. Porthleven is close and a lovely harbour town, helston has a great boating lake and lots of amenities. We travelled to Hayle several times for the beach and went to Falmouth and Penzance all of which were under 30 minutes to get to. Ideal location for staying out of the hustle and bustle but near enough to places to drive too. Thank you for a great stay.

Suzy was amazing helping us to have a last minute 2 night stay when we could not book anywhere in Cornwall for love nor money! Suzy was so helpful and even managed to get us checked in early as we only had 2 days to explore. The caravan was perfect, very clean and spacious. We were a group of 4 and 1 small dog and there was plenty of room. We could enjoy our mini break from the moment we arrived. Great area for exploring, fell in love with St. Mawes and my son enjoyed fishing off the beach in the evening at Praa Sands, a beautiful dog friendly beach. Thank you again Suzy!

First time visiting Cornwall and its been a fabulous stay. We can't thank Chris and Susannah enough for going out of their way to accommodate us and our children. Very friendly park with great facilities. The Internet was a bonus and kept the children entertained aswell as the park and open field. Caravan was clean, well spaced and modern. We can't wait to book for next year. Thank you for a lovely stay ❤

My Partner and I had the most amazing trip to Boscrege. Due to Covid 19 restrictions we couldn’t fly abroad and I can honestly stay we had one of the best holidays ever!
The park itself is so peaceful and quiet and in a great location. There are so many walks direct from the campsite.
The caravan was immaculate, comfortable. We slept so well... it was just the break we needed!
The view from the top of the hill is breathtaking... worth the walk.

Well it’s been many years since I had a holiday in a caravan. I think I might be a convert! We’ve had just a week in caravan A3 and I have to say it was superb. It is obviously well cared for and was spotlessly clean. The accommodation had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom had a comfortable king sized bed. Duvets and pillows were all very clean. The kitchen was well equipped ( not that we cooked much!) and even had a dishwasher. The lounge area was very comfortable with tv and a DVD player. It’s also centrally heated when needed.
The site itself is very peaceful and well cared for with children’s play area and separate areas dedicated to dogs.
The communication on booking, during our stay and afterwards was very good. What more can I say, if you’re looking for a peaceful relaxing holiday this is the place for you! We’ve recommended it to friends already.
The nearest beach is a Praa Sands which is a gorgeous sandy beach and fabulous for families. The nearest resort ( about 4 miles) is Porthleven which has an abundance of restaurants catering for all budgets and tastes, good traditional pubs, a picturesque harbour with craft markets Sunday and Thursday. The site is in a prime location for touring the area and we visited Lands End, St Michael’s Mount, Marazion, Mousehole, Falmouth and St Ives. A word of advice though, be sure to have a bag of change in your car for the car parks!
This holiday was so relaxing, the weather was kind to us which was a bonus, however the of a car is essential. We would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone it’s fabulous.

We booked a tent pitch back in March 2020 for a camping holiday which (due to COVID) was eventually due to happen in the summer of 2021. During the time between our booking and our arrival the site owner Suzy had made the decision to close the toilet and shower blocks. The site is now advertised as not accepting tent bookings. Despite us not being able to stay there in a tent, the site not offering any of the facilities we booked for and the fact we were not informed of either of these changes (meaning we haven't had the chance to rebook elsewhere) the owner has downright refused to return our booking deposit and was extremely rude about it to boot. Looking at some of her responses to reviews on Pitchup it would appear I'm not the only one to have received this treatment. Anyone with this little integrity doesn't deserve your business. I am shocked to my core at such dishonest, unprofessional and unscrupulous behaviour.
