We spent 3 comfortable nights here with a small tour group. My husband and I slept well with the powerful ceiling fan. The breakfast was good, and very pleasant on their open sided central sitting area. Coffee and cake greeted us every afternoon. It is up, away from the main beach and restaurants, so quiet. The garden is lovely. Internet...

We loved our stay at this guesthouse. The place is very Clean and the staff is very friendly. It's very easy to get in contact with other guest and people around are in really good mood! Breakfast is good, and you have Access to coffee whenever you want. Especially the Brazilian Marquinho working there is great. I highly recommend this...

Pousada Cachoeira is about 700m walk from the main beach of Ilha Grande, half of that walk is up hill. Being that little bit further away, the pousada feels a bit more secluded and relaxed. The rooms are simple, but clean and tidy. I enjoyed a mezzanine floor with double bed and a view of the jungle. The common area/courtyard...

not clean, poor WC, minibar/fridge not working, poor breakfast, weak or none wifi signal. The WC had hairs and rests of soap from the previous coustumer and they never clean after 3 nights, too bad for the price that was paid (around 100 Euros/night).

If I had my time over I would spend an extra few real and stay in a nicer place. There are some positives here, the garden jungle setting is lovely, breakfast buffet is fresh and varied and it's quiet and peaceful. When we arrived we were greeted by two extremely unfriendly girls, one just showed us the room and walked...

My wife and I were very happy staying in this pousada on the beautiful Ilha Grande. The private rooms are nice, the AC and wifi works well, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is superb too: hard-boiled eggs, nice coffee and juice, cereals and fruits.. awesome. The 7 cats roaming around were a nice touch of home to the place,...

We stayed here for two nights and despite the long trek up the steep hill it was nice enough. My room was very small and basic, with no AC but a fridge and fan. The gardens are so peaceful and relaxing that it makes up for the small room. I could only get a faint wifi signal from my room...

My girlfriend and I had reserved for two nights at the Pousada, but we missed the last boat to Ilha Grande and called to let them know. When we got there, we tried to negociate (to pay only one night) but the manager wasn't there. The employee didn't know about our situation and told us he was going to call...

We stayed here for two nights and were reasonably impressed. The rooms are very basic, but the gardens in which the pousada are set are very pleasant. The breakfast was decent enough. As others have said, the WiFi isn't great and we had to sit near the entrance to use the internet.

Thank Andrew P
