Kampoeng Baron is a very interesting place. It is an excellent guest house, a reasonable good restaurant and an interesting gallery of Indonesian art. Sleeping accommodations are very clean and still rustic. It is a very quiet and peaceful place. The staff and the host are very welcoming and full of good information. The breakfast was good, but we were...

It took me weeks to search for a lovely guesthouse around the Baron -Indrayanti Beach area. I almost gave up. And so I was super relieved to find Kampoeng Baron Guesthouse. I looked forward to my visit and it did not disappoint. We drove in to the gardens and was personally greeted by the host. He welcomed my group of...

The (suite) room was very nice and comfortable with a huge bathroom. The served food in the restaurant - specialized in seafood - is very good and the staff...

The restaurant is specialized in seafood that is bought in the fish market on Baron beach very close to Kampoeng Baron. The food is delicious. Rent a motorbike to explore the beaches...

I stayed here with my fiance last year for 1 night. Secluded and very peaceful. The rooms look great and are very comfortable. We loved the open air bathroom and the little balcony at the rear where you can watch the stars and listen to the insects and wildlife at night. Rent a scooter and take a 5 minute ride...

Since the restaurant located in the same area as the guesthouse and it doesn't have own page, I'm leaving the review for the restaurant on the guesthouse page. Hope that's okay. I was there yesterday for late lunch after visiting few beaches close by. I ordered chicken steak and ice tea whilst my boyfriend had tomato cheese egg sandwich and...

I stayed one night in this guesthouse during my trip to Gunung Kidul last March. Kampoeng Baron guesthouse is probably the best place to stay when you want to go venture to the beaches of Gunung Kidul. It's located just right after the gates to Gunung Kidul recreational area (where you would have to pay money to enter). The rooms...
