Wow what a great introduction to Borneo! The guys at uncle tans are great and make you feel so at home in the jungle. it is the wilderness so don't expect luxuries! Despite it being rainy season, we still saw so much wildlife: probiscious monkeys, silver leaf monkeys, tropical birds, snakes! The food was great and we enjoyed singing along...

This is a really good way to discover a bit of real Bornean wilderness. We spent 3 days and 2 nights in the camp and saw some pretty amazing wildlife, including a dominant male orang utan (yes we were very, very lucky)! You have to prepare yourself for the experience though, because of course the facilities are really basic and...

A friend and I were recommended this trip along the Kinabatangan river, and we are so thankful we took the advice. From the very first boat trip into the jungle, it was clear that the staff were very alert and knowledgable about their surroundings and the wildlife there. Although probably not the best time of the year visit, as the...

Very nice 2 nights/ 3 day trip at the Kitabatangan river. Professional guides who were partially coming from the villages nearby. All facilities are very simple (you shower with river water and there are a lot of mosquitoes), but if you can handle this you get a really cool experience. Food was great and we saw a lot of wild...

We stayed for 2n/3d at Uncle Tans. We had lunch & a brief at their Ops base before getting on a bus for an hour. We then transferred to a boat for an hour trip down the river to the jungle camp. On the river we were lucky to see 4 orangutans in the wild! We did a night cruise,...

We stayed at Uncle Tan's and did the 3 day 2 night package. Met at the base in Sepilok and were briefed about what to bring.......then took a van ride for 1½ hours out to the jetty where we boarded a boat for a 1 hour trip up the river. We stayed at the very end of the boardwalk near...
