I stayed here in September 2015 for 3 nights/4 days as part of a 11 day jungle lodge tour of Sabah. The most noteworthy aspect of this stay was the excellent communication at every step of the way. The guides and staff were warm and friendly and had a great passion for their work. I really enjoyed Suhali's informative Orang-utan...

I can really only say wonderful things about Sukau Lodge - the tours and guides were top-rate, rooms are very comfortable and charmingly decorated, food is superb, sarongs were a great way to stay cool in the evening. We expected lots of mosquitos but were pleasantly surprised with very few bites. My only suggestion to improve would be to install...

We arrived by boat from Sandakan and we left by road as we visited Gomatong Caves en route which was great. Food was good, buffet style (limited) choice. During the well-organized boat trips we saw many of the wildlife highlights including Orangutans in the wild. Missed AC in the room and the sheet were too small. They didn’t cover the...

Spent there two nights and had the opportunity to enjoy great views on the animal wild life and the living experiences of the people living here in the early 20th century. Our guide Stephen was very experienced and knowledgeable - but we were told he may retire soon. The lodge has comfortable with clean rooms and is beautifully located along...

Always something planned for us to do with every effort to experience the many and varied wildlife. We saw monkeys birds crocdiles frogs and even had...

My 11 year old son and I stayed at Sukau Rainforest Lodge for 4 days/3 nights in September and it was a wonderful experience. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, with everything you need including a re-fillable jug of drinking water and a hot shower with good water pressure. A nice touch was the sarongs they provided for guests...

Great that you can see the monkeys all around the lodge. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and made sure we saw the Borneo Big 5. For me seeing the...

5 minute boat ride over to this lodge and a lovely welcome chat given by the receptionist. Loved our rooms, ok so there's no AC but theres a big electric fan which was fine. Great bathroom and sitting area. Water supplies are good, you can fill up in the lounge. Tea & Coffee always available on a help yourself basis....

If you are looking for Orangutan, Proboscis Monkey and Pygmy Elephants this is the place to come. Really nice accommodation with a female Orangutan a regular visitor to the grounds, we also saw Pygmy Elephants and Proboscis Monkeys everyday and some great birds although we missed our main target the Bornean Ground Cuckoo. We were perhaps spoiled by our stay...
