Detailed Reviews
We stayed 3 nights at Blueberry Cove Bed and Breakfast. It is a very nice B&B. The breakfasts are wonderful and the rooms charming and very comfortable. The owners are personable, warm and just lovely people. The B&B is convenient to all the eastern points of the island and only 40 minutes from Charlottetown. If you are coming to PEI, you really should look this B&B up!

I would recommend this B&B to everyone. Beautiful B&B, well set up, lovely décor, rooms are spacious, clean and quite comfortable. You are made to feel right at home. Liz makes an awesome breakfast, delicious and filling. Couldn't ask for a nicer hostess. In my case, she went beyond the call of customer service when I forgot a piece of luggage at the B&B. Many thanks for your hospitality, I hope to be back soon!

Easily the best bed and breakfast I have every stayed in. From the moment I walked in I felt at home. The owners - Liz and Bob - are sincere, kind, warm and loving. They took their time to make us feel comfortable, at ease, provide advice on where to go, and cook an amazing breakfast every day. We really enjoyed the property and the fact that it was located with barely cell coverage. It truly felt like a place to escape the city life. Great people. Good Energy. Would highly recommend.

The owners had family visiting so aside from check in - we never saw anyone until breakfast - not even one inquiry from them to ask if all was well....( except when my daughter went downstairs to ask for ice and was questioned( not nicely) as to why she wanted it! ) We were informed that breakfast was at 8:30 sharp - that was it. No choice. IKEA grade beds - basic mattresses on platforms in our room - pillows so old and flat you had to roll them up- no tv's in either of our rooms and none made accessible to guests - The owners family was socializing and watching tv in the living room which was open concept to the upstairs ( like a mezzanine ).. a tad awkward.... so couldn't use the common sitting area located on the mezzanine - not that it was that exciting but would have been a change from 4 wall ... walls ... just a couple of chairs and some magazines) Breakfast - well - not hard to sense when the host really wants you out of there ... breakfast was done as cheaply as possible - no choice or options - boxed batter waffles - no bacon or accompaniments...and - tepid coffee . Overall lack of effort. The message we got was that we were imposing....as though they just wanted the money - but not the paying guests. Perhaps they should have put a hold on bookings till after their family visitors left ... The website (describing a whimsical place) mentions the miniature horses so imagine our disappointment when on our arrival we were told in no uncertain terms to stay away from the yard because there were electric fences around the horses and guests were not permitted back there. Liz - the owner makes machine stitched quilts - noted on their website- I had been so looking forward to that - however wasn't inclined to go as far as the astronomical price tags $500.00 + on the quilts hanging on the railing for display. Coming from a family of skilled quilters, I was a little surprised.... Inhospitable hosts.... plain, uninviting less than basic rooms - way off the beaten path ... seemed very far from anything....by comparison to some of the B&B's in which we've stayed- and the others have put their hearts and souls into quality and warm hospitality.... unfortunately not so during our experience here. Charming name for a B& B that falls painfully short.

Sorry, you had this bad experience but i feel you are just annoyed that I charged you postage for the cell phone you forgotten. The waffels are freshly made from scratch as well as the blueberry sauce for them and homemade jams and muffins always made in house. Fruit and fruit juices are on the table and optional boxed cerals or toaster with asst breads are on the sideboard. I do ask if there is any dietary concerns, which none we given. My bedrooms beds & linens are inspected every year by tourism PEI and I have a 4 star rating through Canada select. I warned you about the electric fence so your 4 yr old grandson would not put his hand on it. I have been a tourism operator for 15 years and this is my first bad review and sorry you feel this way.

Stayed here while touring the east coast with my wife. Beautiful home that is right on the water. Room we stayed in was very clean with a comfortable bed with fresh sheets. A private bathroom was a plus. Breakfast is great but be sure you like blueberries!
