Came for one night ended up staying a week. Hotel is right on the river and we started canoing, fishing and rafting... which was not the plan at all. And we just absolutely LOVED IT. Our son went nature nuts. We visited the local attractions. Bought fresh honey and fruit. Ate their FABULOUS breakfast... AND we will definitely come back...

Very nice hotel, with a fabulous location right on the river and a lovely terrace. Restaurant a bit upmarket (and expensive) for us but clearly very popular.

Excellent hotel, marvellous food, very helpful and friendly staff. Everything about this hotel is first rate. We stayed 6 nights and found the menus excellent. The setting by the Tarn River is marvellous. The staff are all excellent and we were particularly impressed that when we got stranded in a thunder storm, 10 miles from the hotel, while out walking,...

Hotel is exquisite and located in beautiful setting; New construction but looks like it's been there forever. Restaurant very nice but pricey (as is breakfast).

To find a boutique hotel in the heart of the Gorges du Tarn was something of a surprise. The reception staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was spacious, well appointed and had a lovely view of the river. The lounge was light and airy with an open fire to relax by, which was very welcome on a disappointingly wet...

We stayed 4 nights at this hotel at the very end of their season (late October) and overall I would say it was a good experience. The staff were friendly and helpful. The public rooms were warm and comfortable with a big open fire to sit by. The dining room was modern and pleasant. Unfortunately, the menu didn't change during...

We stayed at this hotel early/mid September. The location on the Gorges du Tarn is excellent and a good place to enjoy the river and explore Peyrelade castle. The hotel is situated right on the river and offers fabulous views from the rooms, the terrace, and the dining room. The rooms, however, are very basic and very tired. They are...

Stayed in this hotel a couple of nights, the location is fantastic, overlooking the Tarn river, very pleasant decoration in all main areas, from reception to bar and dinning room. Our room, although in the renovated part of the hotel was rather disappointing: old bathroom tiles, cheap parquet floor, overheating fridge in wardrobe and no air-conditionning making it very unconfortable...

We've made four separate one night stopovers at the Grand Hotel de la Muse et du Rozier, travelling through the region, and been very satisfied every time. The nicer rooms are on the higher floors, and airconditioning seems only to be available on the attic floor, where the machines can sit on the balcony. Public spaces are attractive, especially the...
