We came onto B&B by chance and had a pleasant 2 day stay! Very spacious rooms which hold a big bed (we did ask for a 2 persons bed / sheets and had 2 beds / seperate sheets pushed together, but ok no biggie), two sofas with a table and a flatscreen tv. Room temperature could be regulated well. The...

Stayed over a 2-day week-end at l'Etape, enjoying the quiet house and surroundings. The hosts gave us tips on where to go for a hike (Berinzenne) and where to have dinner (La Belle Époque) both turning the day into a memorable stay in Spa. Not only did they guide us fantastically, but Francoise even lent us her rubber boots to...

I was pleased to make a return trip to Spa, especially because I know how comfortable and welcoming this superior B & B is. The location is OK for those who, like me, are carless, as it is quite close to the station (and the owners are also happy to ferry you to and from the station). The walk back...

The hotel has its charm and is beautifully decorated. Its about 8 mins walk from the centre of Spa. I would certainly recommend it, but you have to be very confident you are going to stay here, and not cancel within 20 days. I made the mistake at not looking at the terms and conditions when booking this hotel. Customers...

we spent 2 nights at the cottage, which is actually a pretty decent size for a cottage! with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large living room, kitchen, washing machine, a roof terrace it was wonderfully spacious and it contained everything you need for a more extended stay. the couple running the B&B was lovely, they made us feel really welcome...

Having read others reviews of L'Etape we were very much looking forward to our visit and took the advice of using a GPS to locate it! L'Etape Fagnarde did not disappoint. The homestead is beautiful with large guest suites, spacious bathrooms and plenty of space in the house and yard to simply sit and enjoy (or weather permitting play bocce)....

Would recommend a GPS to find it, but well worth the effort once we were there! Spa is an amazing town steeped in history. Our room was large and comfortable, the hosts were attentive and breakfast was delicious. Will definitely be back.

This place is all about the inn keepers. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Just a few examples..we forgot our converters for the European style club and they loaned us about three. Then, they permitted us to check out at 4 pm so that I would have a place to stay while my husband took driving lessons at the nearby...

We stayed here on a trip to Spa for a few day's vacation and fell in love with the B & B. The rooms are quite large and well-appointed with TV, very soft and comfortable bed (unusual for most Europeans), and large bathroom with shower and double basin sink. The breakfast is excellent with quite a large variety of local...

“If you expect to be jet lagged, rent the large apartment so that one person can watch TV downstairs while the other person sleeps. Also, you will want a fridge so you can buy and store the cheese, meats and pastries sold in town.”
