The view is fantastic, big windows, with an entire cornerview of the Northsea. Unfortunately the room has had its best time. It really needs some fresh paint, new furniture (there are rips in the sofa) and one of the two chairs on the terrace were broken. The lighting does not work properly, the price is high so you should get...

Perfect location nearby the sea, Nieuwpoort's downtown. We stayed 5 days in one of the hotel apartments, poor furniture and catastrophic room service ... some improvement required to be a very nice place to stay in.

This was not a good experience at all. The first room they offered us had peeling paint, scratched wallpaper smelled very musty and there was no view. They gave us an upgrade to a studio that had two of the most uncomfortable beds I've ever 'tried' to sleep in. Breakfast was good but the staff weren't. It was more like...

Old hotel near to the sea. The receptionists are very agressive, they ask cash money and don't always give a ticket for what you paid. The rooms are old style but everything is working well. The restaurant of the hotel does not take into account the different tasts of children (they served a spicy soup to them). The drinks at...

We are coming to this 2* hotel since 1985, often with children and/or grandchildren. Most of the time, we were very pleased of this hotel. Last year (2015), see my previous review, we were for the first time very disappointed. Now, I must say that everything was again fine. We subscribed a weekendpromotion for 1 night. We had a room...

Hotel Sandeshoved is a great hotel in Newgate, Belgium. It's just 50 metres away from the sea! The staff is really friendly, and you have lots of possibilities here. You have the coastal tramway towards Ostend, Knokke and The Panne (Plopsaland The Panne is located there). The hotel itself has a great restaurant, if you're searching a place for fine...

In addition, there is very convenient parking and easy acces to the hotel from the car park. The hotel is clean and staff polite The room was Ok with a balcony however, I did find that it was all a...

Ok, so it's a 2 star hotel, so expectations should be set, and perhaps dropped to a 1 star. Price of food is slightly above average, childrens menu and quality poor(unfortunately this is the norm in many places 😠), but what really annoyed was that they took on board the unique Flanders customer experience where the staff understand the words,...

According to other hotels at the Belgian seaside, this one is cheap. Nevertheless, the hotel is clean, not shiny but clean. We were lucky to have rooms on the 6th floor with frontal seaview and a balcony. This was a nice advantage. The meals in the (buffet) restaurant were not high quality but the food was warm. The breakfast was...

We stayed with our family (6 adults and 3 children, 3 rooms) in hotel Sandeshoved. We came to the hotel for 28 years and were in the past always satisfied. This time, we arrived at the 3d floor which was still a construction site, dirty and with a lot of noice. The room was clearly not cleaned. Bedsheets had not...
