Another lovely evening at The Stags Head. Food was excellent and the place as quiet with no music blaring out. Menu has a lot of choices and I would certainly recommend their mushrooms in garlice sauce and Fish pie. First class. Was a lovely evening and the staff and owners were on hand all evening. Thank you. A merry christmas...

Not many places offer gluten free yorkshires and gravy so it was a lovely surprise on Sunday 6th that I could have exactly what I wanted. The meat was tender, good selection of vegetables, and a lovely dessert menu. You really should try the strawberry cheesecake and creme brulee with raspberries.

We had Sunday Lunch here. Excellent food. Good choice and a vegetarian option. The only complaint would be too much gravy on the plates would have preferred the gravy to be served in a jug rather than on the plate. We booked last minute and there were 9 of us we were squeezed around three small tables in the Bar...

Driving through Devon and seeking to stop for a nice lunch and we stumbled across the Stag's Head. A picturesque pub seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Inside it is a little old fashioned, a little crinkled but warm and inviting. The dining room sat across three levels and it was quiet. The menu is crazy with a huge variety....

I admit I did not have high expectations due to the poor experiences with pub dining I have had in the past, but I was very happy to be proved wrong! Zak had the fillet steak, which he ordered medium rare and...

Lovely spacious room with spotlessly clean en suite. The staff are fantastic, so helpful and go to every effort to make sure you have everything you need. We were so grateful to them for going the extra mile late on a Sunday night to get us dinner: nothing is too much trouble at this pub. Quiet location, great off road...

The Stags Head Inn offers excellent service within a beautiful environment, we were made to feel very welcome and felt that nothing was too much trouble for our hosts and their staff. The room was very comfortable as was the huge bed. We had free Wi-Fi and all the usual amenities such as T.V, kettle etc. The extensive menu led...
