Superb pool area with unbeatable views, large rooms and walking distance of shops and tavernas. Friendly, helpful owners and reasonable prices for drinks. We thought the breakfast poor and there were the usual loose sockets and wet bathroom floor after a shower, but overall a nice place in a stupendous setting

There's a lot to like about this hotel - we stayed for three nights. The location is lovely - up in the highest mountains in Rhodes with great mountain views. The town of Embonas (also referred to as Ebonas) isn't particularly scenic but it is the centre of the Rhodian wine industry and there's huge scope for tasting the local...

We did not stay in the hotel. We stopped here when the tour went to a nearby tourist trap for lunch. The house wine is very good - also served at Aegean Fish Restaurant! It is always interesting to see who has the same house wines :-) The foods were all excellent. (The tzatziki was terrific.) My partner learned a...

Just like some other reviewers we didn't have the pleasure to stay in the hotel and were just passing by Emponas. We didn't have any recommendations and picked this hotel / restaurant just because its location and views to the valley and to the majestic Ataviros - the highest mountain of Rodos. It's quite a different place from the beach...

We haven't stayed in the hotel (though friends have and they loved it), but we visit regularly during the summer season, to have lunch & a swim. The family who run the place are just lovely - so friendly & helpful. The pool, with its spectacular backdrop of Attaviros mountain, is excellent and usually fairly quiet. The food is fresh,...

This was our third stay at this lovely family run hotel. As said in one of my previous reviews this is not a corporate 5 star hotel, this is an authentic Greek hotel. The welcome is superb. My aunt came to stay for one night, we stayed 7, and was very kindly given the room next door, even though she paid...

We took the apartment which was ideal for us (2+3), spotlessly clean two bedroom with breathtaking views of the mountains and sea. Pool is amazing and swimming in the evening was a treat. The owners were very helpful, and even posted to us after we left a bag we forgot. Breakfast was delightful and being close to the small village...

My family and I had been staying with relatives in Emponas for 2 weeks and had used the hotel pool and restaurant on a regular basis. I have to say the pool was fantastic. There were enough sunloungers for all and always spare. There are shaded sofa/chair areas located on either side of the pool bar that are idilic in...

A perfect hotel for families and couples in the green hart of Rhodos. Hotel with spacious rooms, restaurant and swimmingpool at a height of 550m on the Attaviros mountain in the center of the wine district. The hotel is managed by a lovely family, in a quiet environment. The restaurant has lovely simple meals as salads, mousaka, souvlakis etc.

Basically the hotel is really fine for a two star hotel. Breakfast is super with home made products. But... They are cheaters. They overcharge you on every bill. One day the cola costs 2€, next day 1,60 (this is their real price). Every meal we ate here was 1€ or 2€ more. At first we thought, everyone makes mistakes. But...
