When it comes to Vythiri, everybody talks about this resort as must stay and hence I booked this one for a day. I am glad I did for a day. Vythiri resort was opened in late 1990s and one of the first resort experience anybody can get in its early days. It’s located inside the rainforest and it’s hard to get government permissions these days and hence no competitors. First of all , after you checkout they will take you to nature walk . Please stay away from that. First they will show you a small creek and then take you to a place where they will do annual new year party. There is nothing scenic except lot of blood sucking leeches. Please stay away. Food is decent and nothing great even though it’s rated five star. The entire resort is outdated and they haven’t done any renovations over the last three decades. Lots of monkeys everywhere in the resort and they have to fence blocking all the views and feel of why you are in the forest. Rooms are spacious and have nice ambience. But no ac no tv nor wife network. Definelty don’t go with kids to this place , they we’ll get very bored Feels it’s super overrated and not justifying the hype. Very over pricey for what they offer.…

Service :- Restaurant guyes were ready to help you with smilling face. 4. Water fall inside the Resort is the main attraction of the property. Cons :- 1. Three Telephone instruments were replaced during our stay. 2. No TV & AC in the room. 3. Water of swimming pool was not clean. 4. Ambiance was not good. 5. WiFi available in limited space.(Not in the room) 6. Over priced resort, No value for money. 7. Over hyped resort.
I have to enquire about extra bed. I have been trying to call vythiri reosot forast 2days but couldn't reach. No one was answering. How can I reach them by phone+? I got 5 numbers no numbers are responded by any one
A truly wonderful place. I stayed there on May 13 to 15, 2022 with family at the pool villas. Had a really great time. The stay, the ambience, the food, the evening entertainment, everything was excellent. The only catch we felt was the lack of TV and wifi in the room (especially with my father and kids along) but it wasn't a big issue. There's enough to see, do and enjoy for a couple of days. The staff was very helpful and cordial. It is a must visit at Wayanad . Will be visiting again.
Have you ever experienced a cloud passing through your table while enjoying a delicious meal or a frog gliding across the entire length of a pathway or a Giant Malabar Squirrel eating his meal right across your table? If not, then head straight to Vythri! This is one of those rare places which provides luxury in middle of a rainforest without disturbing the surroundings. We directly booked the room through the resort and the process was really smooth. The check-in process was also quick and despite arriving couple of hours early, the room was ready for us. We opted for the basic room - Vythri Haven which has a living room, a spacious bed room, a big balcony and a Jacuzzi. The room was neat, properly maintained despite so much of rain and had all the toiletries in place. There is ample distance between two rooms so that guests can enjoy their privacy. To reach the restaurant and activity area, you need to cross a hanging bridge. That bridge is probably the most popular spot for all the guests to click pictures. We also went to the natural pool and spent some time admiring nature's beauty. There was an awesome magic show in the evening conducted by Mr. Jayram and his wife Jayam which was loved by my daughter and us alike. The swimming pool and indoor games area were also in excellent shape and we could spend some good time there. The resort arranges couple of short treks/walk and in one of them kids are not allowed. The restaurant at this place is top notch both in terms of taste and variety. No item was repeated throughout our stay. Special thanks to Nijil and his team for taking care of us! In general, the entire staff was warm and hospitable. There is definitely an undeniable charm which make people fall in love with this place. One of the few places on earth which we will definitely visit again!…

If you are a nature lover as I , you will just fall in love with this resort that has four different type of accommodation for guests .The Vythri Haven ,The Vythri Honeymoon pool villa ,The vythri pool villa and Vythri tree house . Each of these accommodation offer a unique experience and caters to needs of different categories of guests from Sr Citizens to newly married honey mooners to proffessionals in corporate world , who looks to find a best place in nature to unwind and release their stress build up with facilities like spa and ayurvedic massages or travelers who seeks a holiday in the lap of nature sans any modern day distractions like TV ,wifi etc . In the words of Mr.Roy Chacko former head of sales and presently owner of Lezeldor, the exclusive marketing & sales partner of Vythri resorts ,its a great challenge to not only meet the needs of varied guest in a natural rain forest but also effectively market it in the world that involves varied seasonal packages . I believe Lezeldor which specialises in marketing unique tourism products are doing a good job of marketing for Vythri resorts since 2006. Presently this resort is owned and managed by two eminent businessmen from Calicut namely Capt. Sabestian , Chairman ,who is primarily in shipping business and Mr Jose Kainady ,Managing Director and incharge of this resort operations. Our check in on 8th afternoon arriving from mysore by Road after a cool 3 1/2 hour drive through scenic forest roads, was made easy , comfortable and very welcome by Mr Leo ,who is in charge of front office . Their Sr Chef Mr Majo ably supported by restaurant Manager Mr Manoj ensure the guest are provided exclusive ,delicious and a wide spread of culinary delights for all meals , that is sure to please the palate of their guests from different parts of our country and abroad . The meals in the restaurant on our first day was elaborate and fairly good to taste, not to forget the most hospitable service the staff in the restaurant offerred . On first day evening we were treated to some enjoyable light Music on the electric Voilin by Mr Reji Gopinath , a local violinist and music director accompanied on the lead guitar by Mr Joseph . Second day a magic show is on the anvil for guests . The resort offers Nature walks three times a day accompanied by trained naturalist Mr .Saijo , in the dense forest area of the resort for those who seek to take in the flora and fauna this place has to offer .Ofcourse one has to protect themselves well from leeches that are bound to be in plenty in these type of rain forest . One poginant point about this resort is that they support an NGO called Uravu indigenous science and technology study centre based at Thrikaipetta village of wyanad as a part of their CSR to support rural women whose lively hood was devastated by two floods .They have offerred a sales outlet at their resort free of rent for their marketing of green bamboo products . A visit to their western spa / auyrvedic centre is sure to elevate one's mood and ensure a feel.good factor .There is.also well fitted out games room to spend leisure hours . To my readers and followers in Trip advisor world wide , I strongly recommend that you visit this resort for a wonderful holiday in the lap of mother Nature with all accompanying creature comfort of lodging and boarding in luxury . You will surely take back fond memories and return rejuvenated by mother nature after staying in this resort beautifully laid out and designed by very capable and famous architect Mr Tony Joseph kainadi of calicut …
The worst resort experience at a very steep price! I booked a Vythiri heaven room at approx 35k for 2 days and the resort offers no value for money. The room was very low on lighting and the equipment’s (phone, tea maker etc) were in bad shape. The key highlight of the the hefty charge was Jacuzzi..however the same had a leakage problem and was not working. The food is of average quality and by the end of second day we had a stomach upset. The resort also has a major leaches problem..March was start of rains so the leaches issue..not sure how long it lasts..so you can’t even enjoy freely the resort premises. Overall, had a real bad experience, felt cheated with the exorbitant money charged..please stay away from this property!
We wanted to have a relaxing weekend and booked at Vythri for a weekend. It was a fantastic resort at a beautiful location. The resort is very green and you can have long peaceful walks. The rooms are very comfortable, and facilities are good. The staff is very friendly. Food is ok given the location, but could be better.
