Vamshee International, Nizamabad
Located on the main road at Nizamabad. The rooms are basic but neat and clean. The internet is fine. The breakfast is a bit frugal, but one can manage.
The staff, is friendly.
They have their own basement parking.
Avoid rooms facing the main road, as there could be noise of the traffic.

Good Hotel for the short stay. The property is old and would need refurbishment. However this need not be compared to A city Hotels. The overall cost is reasonable and breakfast was great too. Location is good too.

In South India you rarely come across a hotel with dirty toilet. This hotel was an exception. The toilet was dirty and smelly. The buckets were dirty too.

They changed my room to solve the problem of bad odour in toilet. The support staff took special care to clean the toilet. But they could not do much for the dirty buckets. I had to visit a local super-market to buy a new bucket for myself. Fortunately I had bought a can of room freshener too. The toilet started smelling again at night.

You may not be able to just avoid this hotel altogether. This town has very few options in terms of good hotels. So just make sure that you check the toilet before you book the room. The rooms are otherwise good - clean and spacious.

we had been to this hotel for a lunch with friends and quite liked the ambiance... the staff were courteous.... this is one of the good hotels thats coming up in Nizamabad... its good to see two towering hotels within same location. this is located just at teh entrance of nizamabad town when coming from hyderabad... also there are lot of shopping opportunites, show rooms have come in the same line... since the town is small its easy to move around from here... good luck vamsee international and good luck nizamabad

I was impressed with the name International; till I checked into the room. The room was in shambles, the smell of an 'unoccupied for long time' room was inevitable. The bathroom was worse, I was welcomed with a commode without a seat!! The walls were wet and ceiling had a hole, covered with paper.
But I was told that the ownership changed hands recently and the hotel is in for a renovation. It's better to stay away from this place till it is renovated.
But the breakfast spread was okay compared to the rest of the things..
Still a lot to be learnt as far as the hospitality is concerned: the front office staff are very arrogant and not helpful at all.
As of now, please avoid the place.

Inspite being the guest at the moment, we are writing the review. This is the least we can do to stop people from coming to this hotel. As the saying goes, one shud not judge the book by its cover, the hotel looks as a beautiful property, but this is only till the time you reach the reception. A few things that make The Vamshee International a complete disgrace:
- The male receptionist is extremely rude. He was least bothered to attend the guests as he was frustrated to not be able speak to some PINkY on the phone
- The Ac in the corridors and common areas was not working and we were told that there were too many parties that day, so the hotel was saving on the electricity bill
- When we reached the room allocated 306, the card keys to the door were not working. We were asked to call a person with a master card key, not just to open the door to get in, but also close it once someone wanted to check out
- The male receptionist lied about the server being down as the card keys did not work. If the server was down then the card keys to the rest of the rooms would also not work. But we believe they were working on some magic (smirk!)
-There was no water at all in the toilet
-Electricity cut offs
- The room was a mess. Full of dust and dirt
-Room service was terrible. No respose at all
- There was a lot of muck and dust in the cabinets and drawers

Its best to stay on a footpath than to stay at such a crappy place.
We would just describe it to be "PATHETIC".

Stayed there on a business trip. People say this is the best hotel in Nizamabad, but did not seem so !! The toilets were dirty and needed maintenance. The property is not maintained properly and hence turned bad over a period. Shifted to the Presidential suite but that too was same !! somehow spend 3 days without an option.

People at front office too were not really friendly and had a "Take it or leave it attitude"

The complimentary breakfast was pathetic with rockhard uthappam and non tasty food !! Only good thing was Room service, food was tastier and fast.

Since we were there only for just overnight stay our expectations was very less. So the rooms were very good, big enough and most importantly we wanted good parking facility, which we got.
Food from the attached restaurant was also good.

I stayed during my trip to Basar in November. The service is awesome. We also enjoyed Vegetarian food here. The view is fantastic and this Hotel is located in the center of the city, so it is more convenient to move around. I will recommend this hotel if at all you are traveling to Nizamabad.
