This is a beautifully located hotel in a converted olive mill. The rooms are simple and quite small, but that doesn't matter as you will want to be outside in the lovely courtyard, by the pool or exploring the surrounding area. It offers really good value compared to other hotels in the area.

A lovely restful stay in a small hotel. Beautiful surroundings by the Andalusian national park. Breakfast included orange juice which you pressed yourself and local honey. Staff very helpful and friendly. Car essential, although the hotel does provide a shuttle service.

We took over the Cortijo for our wedding .Set in an idyllic location amongst fields of sunflowers, we enjoyed an amazing experience. The staff were fantastic, they looked after us so well, taking care of every detail. We highly recommend this wonderful place.

We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing 2 day break here. The setting is beautiful and it is a very rustic cortijo. The breakfasts include delicious local honey and homemade jam from local fruits including figs (a bowl of which also featured ob the breakfast table) and as other reviewers have mentioned, it is wonderful to be able to...

Our experience at the this hotel was excellent. The place is run by a family and they took extremely good care of us. The property itself is gorgeous and is surrounded by natural beauty. The rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean. Perfect rest stop if you are driving through the route of the white villages.

Despite all the pros, that have been described at length by other reviewers, such as true tranquility, majestic building(s), good size swimming pool etc. one cannot overlook that there is a lot of neglect, disrepair and - very simply - dirt around. Bring your own domestos and cleaning utensils. We found blobs of hair in the shower and dead insects...

The place is in a fantastic countryside location: the night sky alone makes it worth a visit! The views across the hills and the sunrise and sunsets. The rooms are fairly basic, beds a bit firm, pillows a bit thin. There is an lovely courtyard and refreshing swimming pool. There a re a few wasps nests that could do with...

Beautiful Cortijo in lovely countryside. We spent four nights here at the beginning of August as a family of four. Had a few problems with the original rooms allotted to us, but this was very quickly sorted without fuss and we were moved to a family room with stunning views, a terrace and it was very quiet. A great place...

Spent 3 nights here to visit a local fighting bull ranch & the lovely old hill town of Arcos de la Frontera. Rooms are simple but adequate. Pool area was relaxing. Buildings have many original features. Breakfast is charged separately but unless you want to drive a few kilometres, there is no alternative. You can squeeze your own orange juice,...
