We stayed here one night in September and thoroughly enjoyed the place. It is located 20 minutes out of Alma and about 15 minutes from Hopewell Rocks in the Country. A beautiful setting and the hosts were gracious. The breakfast was very good and our room was spacious and neat. The house is a historic house and the hosts will... More

We arrived to the Florentine Manor late at night. Thanks for GPSs... But appart from this remoteness, the Manor has everything to make travellers happy. Mary, the owner, is the perfect hostess. Although rooms are not luxurious, the entire place is super clean and well kept. Breakfast is served in the large dinning room, in a formal setting but in... More

We made a last minute booking on our way to Bay of Fundy, Hopewell Cape. The room we wanted was not available first night, but was our second. We left 9 in the morning and hiked at the Cape, as low tide was 11:30 AM. We returned at 1:30, without lunch, to switch our rooms. They had packed our bags,... More

This charming B & B in an 1870's home is run by the perfect inn keeper, Mary. Her relaxing manner, wonderful breakfasts, and gentle attitude towards her guests makes your stay absolutely enjoyable. A little off the beaten path, but a gem from the minute you turn in the driveway.

This huge old house has been a B&B for 33 years. Pretty sure the decor has remained the same. The location is very remote. Alma is the closest town and is about twenty minutes away. If you want modern conveniences like WIFI and a television in your room, this place is not for you either. Those services are available in... More

A charming B&B in the heart of the Bay of Fundy Region. A hidden gem for sure. We thoroughly enjoyed our 1-night stay. Check-in process is easy with the innkeeper finishing with taking your breakfast preferences for the following morning, Assigned to Mary's Room on the second floor for our stay. Large room with windows facing east. Ensuite fixtures and... More

Our room was named PAUL'S room. Our granddaughters fathers name. It was great. They gave us the list of available breakfast items and we made our selections and informed us we would eat promptly at 8 o'clock. And so we did. Everything was delightful.

Our week's stay at the Florentine Manor was beyond our expectations. Mary and Cyril Tingley, the innkeepers, are very engaging, accommodating and considerate of their guests. They are also committed to preserving the environment. Each morning started off with a full and nourishing breakfast prepared by Mary and included local and in-season ingredients. Rob and Patrick served breakfast and were... More

... To a more gracious period of elegance and service. Mary and Cyril Tingley (owners) have an interesting story of community involvement, hard work and vision. Be sure to read it in the supplied copy in the rooms. The home was full of antiques and lovely touches - breakfast was served on China in the dining room - with pots... More

Enjoyed the florentine manor on our trip out east. Stayed for 2 nights and could have quite easily stayed longer. My wife and I stayed in Dollies room upstairs and it was very nice. Quite ornate with the furnishings. Reminded me of staying at my grandmas house. Things so nice you didn't want to touch them for fear they would... More
